To all affiliates:
By now I am sure we are all aware that by all appearances Best Casino Partner is not going
to be paying us the affiliate commissions we are owed. I am not here to trash them as I feel that has been done well enough by others. What I am doing is asking for your help, and or possible participation in my efforts to recover the amounts due to me as affiliate commissions. The outstanding commissions due to me are significant enough that I am going to pursue them in any way legally possible. This may include legal actions through the international claims section of the CLLA, (Commercial Law League of America, of which I am a forwarding member) in efforts to secure the funds justly owed for use and continued benefit of the services I have provided, at my expense. I will know by the middle of next week if it will be necessary to pursue such actions…Amongst other businesses, I am a partner in a commercial debt collections firm and we make use of the CLLA Attorneys, on a regular basis in pursuit of commercial debts, not unlike the outstanding obligation referenced herein. Therefore, as it is my understanding that as long as the principal amount of debt is $20K or more, which my balance with BCP well exceeds, an International CLLA Attorney will take the case. Further, it is my understanding that the attorney will work on a contingency basis, requiring only the upfront court costs, filing fees, etc… due at the time they are retained, (as this amount differs from county to county, state to state, country to country, it should be no more than $1,000.00 to $2,000.00 USD), with a contingency rate not exceeding 27.5%, (which also differs from country to country and is an estimated cost and rate).
This is not an advertisement to represent you. Although I am sure my partner would be happy to. If some of you are interested, I would be happy to pursue the possibility of including you in an action so that we can all seek to recover the debts BCP rightfully owes its affiliates, (for the very costly services we have provided, out of our own pockets, in which they have substantially benefited financially, and it appears that they are continuing to do so if I may add), as well as all the appropriate and applicable monetary damages and/or costs affiliated therewith.
Does anyone know an attorney familiar with the online gaming industry? If so, I would like to talk to this person. There may be issues I am not aware of that could affect the likelihood of any recovery. An attorney not familiar with our industry might not know these things and I need to cover all bases and get the best representation possible for myself and all those participating, but please know, with or without other participants, I will be moving forward with this action, if my final demand made tomorrow to BCP is not met within the time frame allotted, (2 business days from tomorrow).
If you too are interested in pursuing this matter for the purpose of recovering the monies justly owed to you for services rendered, then please help me. What I need right now is assistance in tracking down the owners and principles of Best Casino Partner and the casinos they represent. What I am looking for are:
Names
Addresses
Telephone and fax numbers
Email addresses
Any other information you feel will be helpfulYou can email this information to me and make contact with me at [email protected].
Please, I need your help. I am more than willing to join forces and
combine resources with those that are interested. Now, to the owners and staff of Casino Affiliate Programs, GPWA and
Affiliate Guard Dog:First, not everything I am about to say applies to all of you. So,
please accept this in the spirit with which it is intended. You have
held yourselves out as looking out for our best interests as
affiliates. That is why we signed up on your forums. We all know there
is a profit motive behind your efforts. I understand that no one works
for free. Trust me when I say that I also believe that you truly do
want to help us affiliates as much as you can. However, you been
curiously silent on this issue other than to propose rouging the Best
Casino Partner casinos. We need and expect more from you. Rather than
being reactionary and behind this issue and offering us the excuse that
you cannot control the decisions of affiliate programs and casinos, you
should be out front leading the charge. After all, if you cannot help
us and leads us in our time of need, of what use are you to affiliates?I challenge all three of you to be there for us as we now need your help in a possible amicable and voluntary solution to this matter and we need it on a right now basis.
You know more about these programs and the individuals involved than we
affiliates do, therefore, you should be able to immediately aide in an arbitrary solution to these past due amounts we are owed. Pick up the banner and lead the charge! The ball is now in your court. If you cannot do this, then please support me as I pursue this on my own.Look, I am not trying to be a leader here. But, this situation has caused me and my family severe financial hardship. I am sure it has affected many of you as well. I do not want to fight. It is my wish to find an amicable resolution to this issue. But, I cannot and will not accept the non-payment of monies owed to me for services provided. So, whatever means are available to me, I intend to use them to their fullest extent to recover my money until every last avenue has been exhausted.
Please help me, if you can.

Do you realize you still promote Golden casino AND a working link to Go casino too on your site?
A bit hard to take you serious. I would start with taking that one away.
However, I would like to thank you for your effort here.
I am cooking up something too and might come out with it too.
I am agreeing too with the attitude being fishy from all watch dogs.
Hey, they WERE told to shut it. I would like to put a bet on that.
But, would be unfair betting, since I KNOW the outcome.
Shame on all the people who know about it more than they should and not DO anything just because they want to see their own money come in.
Shame on you all.

There are much bigger issues to be addressed. Seriously dude, grow up. What old are you? 12? Self indulgent, smart-assed idiots like you are why I rarely ever post on these forums.
What I choose to have on my websites is my business and none of yours. I sent you a private message about this days ago and this is your only response? I need help from people who take this issue seriously. Not from some I told you so.
Please do not contact me as I do not need you nor want you.
June 27, 2011 at 12:08 am #816968AnonymousInactivewhs-web and Steve are great guys – I know we’re all a little stressed here. So lets take a breather and get back into it.
We all have the same goals, we’ve all been hit with earnings losses. It’s going to cause stress and pressures from losing BCP earnings. Mortgages, staff, bills, day to day living.
I saw whs-web posted a link to this thread from another BCP thread urging advertisers to join forces and get what is owed to us. Let other advertisers effected know as well.
Guys I urge you to contact Steve, we need to work together. Far too much inaction.

No, i am not. Most certainly am not. You keep sending these fools your traffic. IF any at all, you are sending them traffic. I wrote to you about this quite some weeks ago now as a reply to one of your threads. Why still give them your traffic?
@Steve S 229320 wrote:There are much bigger issues to be addressed. Seriously dude, grow up. What old are you? 12? Self indulgent, smart-assed idiots like you are why I rarely ever post on these forums.
yeah. Thanks for making it so personal. What old I am is not your business. So far, I have taken more action than you have. It has caused you to contact me, and, post this thread. I am not sure who you are describing as self indulgent smart assed idiots. IF me, I should have you banned from this place.

Correct ‘dude’… This is your business. You seem to still want to give them your traffic. I merely pointed you to it, since I too felt I was broken after what had happened, no energy to update my sites, since i felt fukced, I imagined it could have hit you too that way. Sorry for caring. How stupid of me.
@Steve S 229320 wrote:

You flatter yourself too much by default. No problem, I won’t contact you. I have no need to be wanted by you. Although, it does sound kinky. Odd you suggest that to someone you deem 12…
Anyways, Steve…
Hold your horses cowboy… I am all up for getting what is ours.
I am serious about it. Again, this is why I started my thread, that started the whole discussion and got attention prior to you posting yours.
Anyways,
Nice to meet.
I apologize if you seem to have felt the need to feel attacked by me. I just think it is odd you want to linch them on one side of your being, and the other side is still providing traffic to go casino, not even redirected. No straight to Go Cas…. Ok, ok, your business.
Take a chill pill and I hope you get it organized.
You will want to shoot me for this, but hey, I chance it: Try to Take your anger out, you will have a lot more time and energy left to do other things. Anger does nothing else bar making things worse. Not for me, but for you. Only for you.
Kindest and best wishes wished. Honestly.

Just thought I would let you know that I sent BCP a 48 hour demand for the money owed to me. I will keep you posted on their response, if there is one.

June 30, 2011 at 4:22 am #817063AnonymousInactivewhs-web:
I did not receive a reply from Best Casino Partner with respect to my demand for payment. To be truthful, I did not expect one. So, now we take the next step. Contacting an attorney to see if I can find one who will take the case.
Dom:
I called Larry Walters’ office. No sooner did I get Best Casino Partner out of my mouth then I was told that they cannot represent me. It seems they represent most of the casinos with respect to first amendment issues amongst others her in the USA. When I asked for a referral to another attorney with whom I might consult, I was told that they knew of no one and suggested I contact the Texas Bar Association. Not quite the response I was looking for, and not very helpful.
I then googled Nelson Rose and found his website. It seems you can only reach this guy via email. So, I fired on off to him last week and have yet to receive a reply.
A friend of mine tells me he searched for attorneys who specialize in online gambling and could not find anyone other than the two mentioned above.
So, where does this leave me? Looking for an attorney and filing complaints with anyone I can, I suppose. I will carry on. That much is certain. A number of current and former affiliate managers and several affiliates have contacted me with tips and suggestions. To these people, I offer my gratitude for your support. Thank you.
I must confess, however, that I feel very alone in this fight to get paid for services provided. And this is very disappointing to me. My thoughts had been that many others have not been paid as well. Surely there would have been a greater outcry and call to arms than what I have witnessed. To me this does not bode well for the future of this industry as I feel that inaction by affiliates at this time will only embolden other operators to treat us the same way when faced with similar circumstances in the future.
It has been suggested to me by those that I feel are more plugged into this business than I, that Best Casino Partner and/or the casinos they represent are pulling a “Grand Prive”. Having made real good money for a number of years, when faced with a loss of funds due to a processor stealing from them, they feel it is easier and more profitable to not pay affiliates and run the casinos with their existing player base. Once operations tail off, they can open a new brand under a new ownership structure. Could be true I suppose.
What of our supposed advocates? CAP, GPWA and AGD? They organizations that are looking out for the interests of affiliates? Other than a weak discussion of who gets paid in bankruptcy by Michael Corfman, not much really. You would think the number one priority of these organizations would be to ensure that affiliates got paid. Industry news updates and polls are nice, but, they pale in comparison.
All three organizations have made very good money over a number of years on the backs of affiliates. They have essentially sold access to affiliates. You would think an organization that was really looking out for affiliates would have set aside a portion of those revenues to create a legal fund should it ever be needed to help us in our time of need. Especially since their are already several precedents of this kind of behavior by operators. That they would take the lead in these cases and allow affiliates with far fewer resources at their disposal to join in.
You would further think that these organizations would be filing complaints with the software provider, the Gaming Board or other agency tasked with the oversight of gaming licenses in the countries the casinos are licensed in and the same agencies in every country the operate in. And then, provide us affiliates the contact information so that we could approach these agencies and lodge our own complaints as well. They should be rallying us all into a common cause that is both purposeful and swift. To show affiliate programs and casino operators that they must honor the commitments and contracts they have made and cannot cut and run, leaving affiliates unpaid monies they are owed for the time and money they spent promoting their brands. Instead, I am left to find this information myself. And I will.
I have to be honest, it appears that these organizations are nothing more than profit centers for their owners. And each one of us affiliates another potential revenue stream. I know that these are harsh words. But, where have you guys been hiding?
Further, if operators can just shut their doors and not pay us, then this is no longer a viable business. Spending time and money via ppc or seo to maybe get paid is not a business plan, it is gambling.
I know that this may very well rub some of you the wrong way. And, I am sorry for that. There really is no other choice for me than to take this thing as far as I can. Otherwise, how do you look at yourself in the mirror every morning knowing that you did not do everything possible to get paid. If any of you are able to provide me with assistance, I would be extremely grateful.

This is indeed the ultimate test to see whether or not we are protected.
