There is a difference between programs that buy advertising or forum space here at CAP and programs that are APPROVED.
You have to go here Online Gambling Affiliate Programs Community Certification and vote for programs that are trying to get approved. (or vote against them).
This has just started and will eventually be a comprehensive list of programs, all voted in or out by affiliates.
This process has just started and if everyone goes to this page and VOTES it will be a great feature.
Only affiliates can vote. Only we can say who we approve or not.
Just because a program can buy an ad does not mean it’s a program we affiliates consider good. Only programs we affiliates vote for are recommended.
So get over there and vote!

Do you not think that could give people he IMPRESSION that the program is approved by CAP?
After all what has gone on for the last year or so, I would say this is a very BAD idea.
If it were up to me I would ONLY allow fully approved programs any ad space.KK
True, but there are economic realities and I am not privy to the economics here.
This feature is just in the launching phase and soon will be very prominent on the site, so the community will have easy access and be fully aware.
CAP is the only affiliate board to have it, and all of them accept general advertising (except AGD). So we’ll be one step ahead as far as looking out for each other.

Great Post Dominique, I think CAP is heading in the right direction and the other affiliate programs are heading in the wrong direction! I hope to see CAP more busy down the road as affiliates gain the respect cap is just not here for the sponsors but for the affiliates as well.
