I realize there is a lot going on right now at CAP, with the 10,000 member contest, VIP Lounge, & Community Certification: but there is one other thing I wanted to let you know about.

The affiliate program complaint system is a new tool we have set up to allow affiliates to resolve issues with operators in a professional manner. The goal of the system is find resolutions that are appropriate for both parties.

The system is initiated when an affiliate files a complaint against any of the programs Listed on CAP. The affiliate manager will be notified of the issue and asked to respond. All communication takes place within a private URL that only those two people can access. (Even if the URL is released, other users will get an error message)

If at any point the affiliate manager is unresponsive or if a resolution can not be met, the affiliate may click a button to request help from an administrator. This will flag the string and allow a member of the CAP staff to step in, gather information and offer advice.

It is our hope that all issues can be resolved by the affiliate and operator, but we recognize that sometime an affiliate, as the smaller party, needs someone to stand up for their rights.

Records of the complaints and resolved complaints will be kept for all programs. The statistics on unresolved complaints will be used in the future on CAP, such as to flag Community Certified programs that need to be reviewed.

We invite you to take a look at the system, but please note that the system is live and an affiliate manager is notified immediately when a complaint is filed.

See the system here: File a Complaint with an Affiliate Program

What do you think? Will this new system help you resolve your issues with affiliate programs? Are there any times in the past when you wish something like this existed? How soon do you anticipate using it for the first time?

Great idea but can it only be used regarding programs that appear in that dropdown?

A few years ago I was recruited at a testplayer at Romecasino.

I really liked the idea with CAP testing different programs – especially the new programs with new software.
And the testmaterial written about Romepartners was scary reading as I remember.

But keep up the good work:hattip:

@casinogeld.de – that sounds like a cool idea. To have someone test it out and make sure payments go through then give them the thumbs up. I think we will see something similar with the Community Certification system. Affiliates will all get to be the testers and then vote for the programs that work properly. After-all who knows which programs work better than affiliates. Even if we had a team test the programs, it would be tough to get results as accurate as what an entire community could continuously provide.

Sure. They seems to be doing some cool things. I think their founder is here in London for LAC, we might have to have a meeting and see how everyone can work together to benefit the affiliate industry as a whole.

yes, I think that this union is something very good,
This organization is the one the finally puts affiliates’ interests on the table.

I know that there were problems between CAP and GPWA, I think that this union can be the solution that gathers people from both organization to join around one goal that is the affiliates.

The tools to be uses and all other things are subject to democratic votes,
the more members from both organizations join, the more power this organization has.

if affiliates bring 40% of the income to the industry (as I saw in one lecture in event of the industry) than affiliates also deserve some respect and a unit that protects their interests. because their intrests are after all also the interests of the industry

CAP has many years of negotiating with programs for affiliates under it’s belt and likely solved more affiliate issues than anyone else in the industry.

It’s great when all affiliates can work together and there is not that rift between places, but we have Yvette here who happily helps any affiliate with issues, and we also have AGD to help pick programs with good T&Cs.

GAU is very new to the scene, and I hope to see them to add a useful and successful venue for affiliates as they grow.

All that fragmentation among affiliates is not a good thing, we all need to stick together when the chips are down.

yes, we just need to wait and see what will happen with this GAU and what they’ll do

too bad that I didn’t meet you Dominique, maybe in the next event

First time I didn’t make it there, I hope to make it to conferences the rest of the year.
