DFS Operators Join Forces on Multi-Platform Self-Exclusion

The Coalition for Fantasy Sports is launching a unique new self-exclusion partnership that allows players to block themselves from multiple daily fantasy sports (DFS) sites at one time. Under the system, which is powered by technology from  idPair, players looking to take a break from DFS can self-exclude themselves from all participating members of the Coalition for Fantasy Sports with a single click of the mouse.

Self-exclusion is one of the most effective and common weapons in the responsible gaming arsenal and the Coalition’s partnership is a unique take on this standard practice and beefs it up considerably. JT Foley, the Executive Director of the Coalition for Fantasy Sports commented on the system’s power in a recent press release saying, “This unprecedented partnership demonstrates the value each of our members place on protecting consumers and improving their mental health. We’re dedicated to leading the Responsible Gaming space and encourage all operators across the gaming industry to follow suit.”

Jonathan Aiwazian, CEO of idPair also commented on the potential of the new system adding, “At idPair, we are dedicated to connecting data to improve tools that help people play more sustainably through cutting edge anonymization and encryption methods. Our technology enables stronger safeguards and ensures sensitive information remains secure and private, giving players peace of mind. We’re proud to partner with the Coalition to raise the bar for safer gaming.”

The new self-exclusion system will be rolled out on a national level and players who exclude themselves from Coalition members’ sites can do so no matter where they are located.
