1. Calvin Ayre Indicted
Calvin Ayre’s a carefully groomed outlaw/bad boy image got a major boost when the US Department of Justice indicted him on gambling and money laundering charges. While Ayre himself doesn’t seem too concerned by the DOJ’s vendetta, anyone else in the igaming business should be. After all, the DOJ’s lust for any sort of Ayre conviction, is nakedly transparent in this indictment. Expect to hear more about this story in 2013.
