Wizard Gaming Auctioning Off Online Casino Software

From now until the end of November, the management of Wizard Gaming is holding a “public and open” auction to sell its assets, after making the decision that its proprietary iGaming software “can be commercialized faster in the hands of new owners.”

This software “has taken over four years to develop and has a book development cost of over $5,000,000,” representatives say. “This auction represents a fabulous opportunity for an iGaming operator or other party wishing to have their own unique iGaming software or to enter the casino software industry at a cost likely far below what the replacement cost would be today.”

The software in question was designed to produce quality online games that rival those found in the world’s best land-based casinos. The games are described as feature-rich, and were created to offer specific advantages over other online casino games. Those advantages come in the form of high-impact graphics and sounds, and compelling narratives.

What’s up for auction, exactly? “IP rights, including the master copyright on all graphic and audio content for the games and the software’s back end that includes affiliate API, card processor and eWallet integrations, and operator back end.  The software’s robust Linux based backend and its web interface use state of the art technology including Ajax.”

A portfolio of online slot games still in development are also included in the auction.

The auction ends on midnight, November 29, 2010. For more info on the auction and/or to make a bid, visit wizardgaming.co.uk/auction/auction.html. For an example of Wizard Gaming software in action, check out SlotsCountry.co.uk.
