April 28, 2009 (CAP Newswire) — Several news sites are reporting the conclusion of a legal battle in which Bodog — a major gambling destination that still accepts U.S. players — sought to regain its original Bodog.com URL from a company called 1st Technology LLC.
Bodog has now won back the Bodog.com domina name and plans to transfer operations there soon. (It’s been conducting its online operations under the domain name BodogLife.com since 2007.)
It remains unclear whether or not Bodog’s parent company, Morris Mohawk Gaming Group, actually owns the name or has just struck an arrangement to use it. But either way, look for the Bodog operations to return to its original domain soon.
