April 15, 2009 (CAP Newswire) — With almost 1,700 attendees, CAP Euro London '09, which was held last January and February, smashed all international gaming affiliate attendance records. But don't expect that to last for very long: Industry analysts are predicting that the upcoming Amsterdam Affiliate Conference (AAC) will be even bigger.
With more than 60 sponsors signed up, the AAC (which was originally named CAP Euro Amsterdam) is already exceeding industry expectations. Officials for iGaming Business, the online gambling publisher that’s organizing the event, have stated that the positive response from exhibitors has taken them by surprise.
"We always expected the event to be big but after the name change and re-brand we were concerned AAC might be affected, but it has been the complete opposite with more exhibitors than ever before and a huge number of affiliates already registered to attend,” stated Alex Pratt, the AAC's lead organizer. "The reason the event is looking so good is down to a number of fundamental rules we follow with our events including: All affiliates go free, quality over quantity with speakers, networking shouldn’t end with the expo and just because it’s an industry event doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy yourself!”
AAC takes place at the end of April and is piggybacking the a4uexpo Europe Amsterdam event, offering the affiliate industry the convenience of attending two of the year’s biggest conferences back-to-back with just one set of travel arrangements. The AAC also coincides with Queen’s Day, a Netherlands holiday that's also Amsterdam's biggest street party.
To kick off the event, the Amsterdam Affiliate Conference will hold a joint networking party with the a4uexpo Europe and LondonSEO.org personnel. Two days of conference and networking activities will follow, interspersed with several more networking events. On top of this, the educational content will be top-notch, featuring such popular industry experts as Bob Rains, Marcus Tandler, Jason Duke, Judith Lewis, Dave Naylor, and special keynote speaker David Irvine, one of the original members of the famous MIT Blackjack Team.
The event begins in two weeks, on April 30. For more information, please click here.
