February 12, 2009 (InfoPowa News) — The London-based advertising agency 7Stars has successfully pitched for the £10.2 million William Hill plc media planning and buying contract, winning the deal from the incumbent agency and several other competitors, reports Marketing News.
The land and online gambling group has also retained communications planning agency Edward Groom Saunders for communications work and i-level activity on the company's growing online operations.
7Stars has enjoyed mixed fortunes recently; its retail client Zavvi collapsed, but it won National Trust advertising for four regions in January, and the William Hill deal will provide a welcome business boost to the agency.
William Hill group marketing director Chris Edgington left before Christmas, and marketing duties are being handled by marketing controller Adam Harris, while Eyal Sanoff recently took responsibility for online marketing.
