October 13, 2008 (InfoPowa News) — The U.K. interactive television gambling operator NetPlay TV has two launches this week, in a new interactive TV show called Supercasino and the daytime Live TV Bingo.
The company has extended its airtime deal with Turner Media's Nuts TV channel, allowing the broadcast of Supercasino from 11pm Friday and from 11pm Saturday on the Sky and Freeview platforms. Live TV Bingo starts screening on Nuts TV and its own dedicated Sky TV channel 867 November 1st in the 2pm to 5pm daily slot. The program interacts through the Bingos.com website, taken into the Netplay fold earlier this year.
The Nuts TV channel reaches an audience of more than 23 million British homes.
"We are delighted to extend the partnership with Turner Media," says Gavin Whyte, chief executive of SuperCasino. "The Nuts TV Channel has the perfect audience for 'Supercasino.com', our interactive TV gaming show. We are also delighted to extend our interactive shows airtime on Freeview, which gives us the edge and broadens our customer base. The airtime, during peak viewing times at weekends, is a major boost for our business."
Damon Letzer, commercial director for Turner Media Innovations, said: "We are pleased to extend our relationship with NetPlay TV plc. Interactive gaming is a key part of our strategy as we move forward."
NetPlay's Live Roulette show will continue to be broadcast on Nuts TV from midnight weeknights and from 10pm on Saturdays and 11pm on Sundays.
