I was think about this, and I know occasionally we are asked to vote on changes to the forum, but I think it is high time we block external links to new members.
Most other forums do this and I would suggest we set the min number of posts pretty high so that we can see if this new guy has anything to offer, or is looking to just spam us before it happens.
If someone form the “outside” has important news, it is as easy as saying search for “The most amazing thing you have ever seen” and bam… amazing.
Worst case scenario would be more content for CAP and less links to un-trusted sites.

As usual, thank you for your feedback. It’s appreciated! Today, all members must have 15+ posts before they can participate in the Buying/Selling section, but you’re saying to eliminate links entirely until they hit a certain number, right?
