Hi,
My name is Richard and I am from The Netherlands.
I have quite a lot experience with WordPress but I have no websites at the moment.
But I like to start and have my own casino/bingo affiliate website in The Netherlands.
The problem is the same like everywhere in the world is that there are sooo many casino affiliate websites.
This my biggest question, is it still worth it to start up a new casino affiliate website ??Looking forward to see your replies and maybe some advice.

It is not too late to step into the industry. It depends really much which market you are going to target for. National markets seems to be little easier to gain some decent money and english market seems to be much harder to earn some real cash because of the increased competition.
Catch some really cool domain and start to work with that. Get some cool deals from aff programs and start promoting them.
If dutch is your native language, why don´t start with that.. Get some cool dutch domains with .com or .net and give it a go!

Good to hear that you think it’s still not too late to step in this great business.
I don’t want to target the big english market but my own country, The Netherlands.
But also The Netherlands is a big market but much smaller than the english market.You give me some hope, so I will try to het a cool dutch domain with some keywords (nl,com or net).
I signed up already for one program to promote but I will get some more.Any advice for me how to promote my website or some other advice to start my new website?

If you can go with a .nl -domain, it would be awesome too.
Try for social.. Facebook and Twitter accounts will surely catch some eyes.. And of course traditional SEO will be the one to do..

Yes it is still worth making one, especially if you know a lot about a specific game or type of betting. Then you can share your wisdom with the world and in turn, other sites and people will reference you as a valuable resource. This is what search likes.
Becuase there is only so much one can talk about when it comes to gambling, a lot of us hire writers to add to our own knowledge base. We also often trade content, like I am interested in gaining articles about UK online casinos, but I am from the US so its hard to do. When another webmaster needs an American written article we can trade! You can also keep posting and eventually you will get a link on this very forum.
Keep it up and with enough time people will come to trust you here and will be more willing to do busniess with you. We have all been burned in one way or another but you seem cool and like you really want to make a good site so send me a PM and we can talk about trading and who else has some decent stuff available.

welcome to this forum also! I think it really worth starting an affiliate site. I met a lot of webmasters who have a different approach and are able to make money. You need to know that will be hard and also that you need to be original and consistent with your work, but its possible.
Hi Richard, I don’t think the Netherlands is too saturated at all for casino affiliate sites, I think there are still plenty of opportunities for NL

The best names are gone,also in The Netherlands with .nl.
What I really want is a keyword rich domain with for example “online casino “in the name,but this is almost not possible.
And I also want to promote bingo and betting,will this work on a “online casino ” domain?

RichardNot saying that you shouldn’t start an affiliate site, but you should know that officially it’s forbidden in NL to advertise for online casinos.

Yes anything can work on any domain name. If the work is done right. Personally i like mobilecasinoparty . nl

It makes you understand what makes an offer most attractive and you will already have insights into what software and casinos your visitors will enjoy, if you like playing them yourself already!
