Facebook “Like” Protected by First Amendment

For all of you Americans out there, the US Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that “Liking” something on Facebook is considered a form of speech, and is protected by the First Amendment of the US Constitution.

Pretty crazy how social media is penetrating the Constitution and our rights as US citizens.

The ruling makes the law much more clear that people are free to like whatever they want, no matter who it might offend.
