Bloomberg recently reports that Ira Rubin, one fo the 11 men indicted by the DOJ on Black Friday, has received a 3-year sentence and is ordered to forfeit $5 Million he made illegally processing payments for online poker rooms PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and Absolute Poker on behalf of their US players.

What do you think: Was this sentence harsh or sounds about right?
Weird! No else going to jail.
But if the ‘telemarketing scam’ was unrelated to the poker business then I quess it does show a pattern – and not just a poker guy that got carried away.
