Hey guys/gals.. I’m looking to sell onlinecasino.ws
Its a nice old domain with some back links, has been aging in google for some time.. it was in the top 20 for online casino in the US about a year ago but since then I haven’t shown it any love as I have too many projects on the table.

Just an FYI, I think your trying to sell a powerfull kw domain at just thw wrong time. I think were in a the largest low for casino related domain names. I would hold this one in case regulation actually happens in the US..
I would throw you $1000 today though even thoiugh its a ws domain,
Seriously though I would sit on this one.

Thanks for the offer and the advice, Ill respectfully decline the offer though.
No worries Ill be sitting on it if I don’t get a solid offer, it is a domain I had some nice plans for, and the nice thing with .ws is that is super easy to geo target to any country in google webmaster tools, or with sub domains/sub folders. Unlike like many other extensions which are locked to a specific country.
GFCP – Thanks for the tip also, but I don’t have a specific BIN or MIN price in mind.. just looking to see what kind of offers I can get and feel the market, for the right fair offer Ill let it go… as it is just sitting and collecting dust anyway and I would love to see it ranked.. it definitely has the potential and its definitely a gem in my eyes.

EDIT: Okay so I’ve put some thought into it, and I think $25k for minimum offer, and BIN $50k would work for me.
I feel that this is a $100k+ name, but considering the current climate I could live with something around the $50k mark. Less and it wouldn’t be worth selling, Id be losing too much as I did pay a fair market price for it a few years ago.
Note:
onlinecasino.co sold for $100k around 6 months ago, and it is very similar to onlinecasino.ws both geo target-able to anywhere, both not the .com, net, or org and the biggest difference is that .co is a new extension, where as my .ws is more than a decade aged.

I think now a days those other extensions are starting to rank well. I have a feeling extensions like .ws .co and various other ones are starting to rank in google more and more as Google has decided to level the playing field. Even though the SERPS are complete garbage right now – this would be a good time to pick up this domain and see how much it can make over the course of several months. My only fear would be if they roll back on Penguin which is very possible then the .ws domain may be much harder to rank.
Right now though $25-50K seems like the right offer..
I would of picked it up for 20K most likely as i feel that would be an easy price to sell it for developed if it indeed flopped.
Good luck on the sale – but like the other person said – keep it and at least put some content on it and develop it a bit – may even be easier to sell for 50K your asking price.
Yeah I agree, now is the time to rank these type of extensions and rank them hard. Now its much more doable than it has been in the past.
For prospective buyers – I’m currently just putting a site on it.. using the custom hacked out wordpress from black-jack.net. Thousands of $ in coding. Nice games section, multisite globalization, can easily make casino lists and drop them into any page with a shortcode, etc. So Im going to put a couple pages of content on it.. and the site will come with the domain.
