Ok guys i guess ill bite the bullet and say that i’m so close to finishing this site that i will post in now for your reviews. Be gentle this is my first site and i’m still learning all i can. Of course like any site there are still tweaks to touch up. but if you can see anything i can do for improvement please let me know.

It looks pretty nice. Very clean. I am wondering if the “Poker Room of the Week” is supposed to have the ‘$’ at the end? Also, I’m not sure about the green of the font or if those titles should be in italics.
Perhaps separate “Home”, “About”, “Canada Poker”, etc. with ‘|’ or something like that? Other than that it looks very well done.

Look at making your title a bit more descriptive, “Home” will not do oyu any favors on the SEO side of things.
Also the bundle of terms at the top shoiuld be organized, its a bit of a mess up there now but the site has a very sharp look other than that! Great start
HI Here are a couple of things I would change
1) Title tag – Home is not good -in fact its the worst – you have to figure out what your page (site) is about, the only keyword in your domain is gambling – so something like Poker gambling online, Player poker gaming etc.
2) your directory at the top font size is way too big
3) the height of your logo is way too big
4) where you have the two aces image put your best affiliate program there
5)I’m not a big fan of the background colour – but that’s just a personal opinion
6) where you have alt=”Image description” put you keyword phrase eg alt=”poker gambling”goof luck
Thanks everyone for viewing and helping out with the info. I will make the changes asap. I do have one question though to shotgunpete. About number six that you listed. I’m sure what you are meaning, can you elaborate a bit on “alt” image? Not sure where that is located..

where ever you have an image you have an alt tag
for example on your page if you look at the source of your main page you have
alt=”By: TwitterButtons.com”
alt=””
alt=”Image description”in the quotes you can put whatever you want – I have found that putting your keyword phrase there helps with page density for what you want to be found for
you also have a bunch of bland title=”” – I would remove them
Thanks pete for the reply ill jump right on that…and you commented on bland titles, on this subject I’m not following you, are you talking about the image titles?

ok i’m working on the site now, in the alt “” area where i put in words, should i do a small sentence or should i put keywords such as gambling, poker etc.?
also should i just do the home page or should i do every one in the site

You shouldn’t put in random words – you want an exact phrase you want to get hit for
you should put your keyword phrase eg alt=”poker gambling online” <-- for your main page for your other pages – depending what they are about eg Canadian poker alt=”poker gambling canada” there are just examples plus every page should have unique title tagI just looked at the re-do
a couple of more things
your title tag can be up to 60 characters including spaces
don’t use {some of you ‘plug ins’ are slowing down the loading time (the addthis and the twitter)
free be- Apex Gambling – The Pinnacle of Poker Gambling Online (just a thought) – might be good on your logo as no one knows what AGGA is
Why are you focusing on poker – gambling is on your domain name – have a poker section and make the main page more generic – Casino , Sports Poker ect.
when you say unique title tag for each page, where am i editing this, i have a seo page in my control panel, but it covers all the pages together, not by individual. Thanks for the short time reply to. helps that you were so quick before i did every image.
time to get dreamweaver or copy and paste each page to a plain text file – make sure there are no mistakes – copy the redo onto the page and then save
well i have no experience with either methods, so that will take a bit of time. thanks pete for the help and the replies.
