Just a thread for some of us to vent a little
Know that a lot of people have been hit really hard by the latest google updates.. Hopefully they roll them back a little..
My myself, just finished going thru all numbers,
Google traffic dropped about 83%. Thanks Google..
I think the sites hit by this all are losing about 70-99% of their google traffic, some sites are no longer in the top 200 for their domain name even.

LOL. One of my sites that was between 1-5 for a couple of years is now number 799 and still dropping..
I have one site that google gave 170,000 impressions a day to pre penquin now is getting only 22,000 impressions. Things still seem to be moving around as I am watching several of my sites bounce up and down pretty good.
Ouch Belgamo that is 85% swing.One of our site fell about 100 places and traffic has dropped 35% but thankfully it is not one of the high revenue sites.

One of my better non-gaming sites got hit this way.
I was #1 google for about a year, then slipped to #2&3 but now it is way way way out of sight – SIGH!!

I dont think this is a simple dance this time around.
Its a gain for me as well .. I am getting 50 to 70% more from google now. I think this update helped new webmasters all my sites have been benefited from this update.
For some strange reason ive noticed a lot of new, no content sites ranking really well.. Hopefully google fixes this
One of my sites experienced the same fate. Actually it is pretty new site (not even a year old). It was climbing up slowly but surely and now boom… all that hard work and not anywhere in sight.
I wonder what they are up to this time!
I’m starting to think that I wasn’t being aggressive enough with linkbuilding because I haven’t seen any major changes up or down.
Caseym, I would say NO
My main reason for saying that is that while many sites were hurt by this update, many were also very good sites. Just about any search you do now shows some very ****ty sites ranking high. G will find a way to correct this I’m sure.
