Just wanted to give a head’s up to the CAP Community Members that are also affiliates to Bovada. We just learned that the Bovada Program will now be banning traffic from some US States. For full details, go here: Bovada Bans Some US States
And if anyone has any other details on updates from this program, please keep us posted on this thread.March 15, 2012 at 2:01 am #822462AnonymousInactiveThats too bad, while I havent promoted them very hard, Marc Yott is one hard working affiliate manager. Gotta give him credit, he keeps his affiliates informed and floods us with banners and reports. I like that, but I am sorry to hear about banning some states.
I hope it does not go any further.

But better safe than sorry.
It makes for real uncertainty if a gamer knows about all the troubles and the history. But I wonder if the bulk of the USA players really know the sites they play at.
I guess they are just like affiliates, some get sucked into rogue sites.
Too bad the US gov. doesn’t try and protect citizens instead of trying to shut it down.
Trying to shut it off is like putting out a house fire with your hands full of water.March 16, 2012 at 4:31 am #822513bosshoggsMemberJust want to clarify… Bovada is an awesome program… just want to alert the community on the shut down of certain states, but we absolutely advocate partners to keep rockin’ it with them

Yah, they are only fine tuning it to try and prevent any future interference.
I had just added their poker product to my poker site and their casino to a casino site of mine (both as the primary brand).
(Maybe it will scare off other affiliates – and I’ll have more of the market to myself – more money for me (he, he, ha, ha, ho, ho)).
