Gaming industry insiders have mixed reactions to the US DOJ changing their stance on the Wire Act. Here’s a roundup of the latest updates since the announcement was made one week ago.

IMO… I still think this can lead to positive things for our industry in 2012.

I agree that it’s a step in the right direction. I know it will take a while, but I’m looking forward to promoting all the US regulated gaming sites. Will there be affiliate programs for the Nevada licensed poker rooms and casinos? Or is it too soon to know?

That would be awesome if that happened, that’s all I want to do too. Its certainly possible to make money from multi-language casinos, but I think a regulated US market would be much better. I hope the good times come back again when casinos weren’t restricted :)

I certainly think that everyone is hoping that US regulation in some way, shape or form will be an outcome of this.
