Just wanted to share an outstanding article that was contributed to CAP by Scott Yeates, former PokerStars manager.
Full Tilt Poker, What Went Wrong? Scott Yeates Knows
Great overview of what really went down with Full Tilt Poker, ranging from FTP becoming the 2nd largest poker site in 2006, theories behind Ray Bitar, and ultimately what most of us question- the Aftermath and what more is forecasted.

They had everything in the world going for them, and crackdown, greed, and ineptness has really led them to an unrecoverable state. If they do in fact sell out, it will be for pennies on the dollar, from what their true worth was at the beginning of the year.

Perfectly put… I think it’s helpful to dig into what went down with FTP, not to expose the company in a negative light essentially, but to just understand what went on in hopes that other companies out there can prevent a catastrophe like this from happening again.

Nicely summed up.
