It only seems natural to the evolution of online gambling to start implementing “Live Dealer” casino and other games to the market place. IMO it provides an enhanced gambling experience to players in general. And, it appears to be gaining traction.

Just curious with the community- what’s your take on Live Dealer campaigns? What are you seeing as far as ROI in this vertical? What is the ratio of Live Dealer vs Traditional Gambling campaigns that you’re running traffic to? What what’s your user base’s reaction to these campaigns?

I’ve heard great things about the Casino Creed guys when it comes to live dealer gambling… their success seems to be in table games, and their software comes as close to live dealer gambling then the rest. Their tables are in a warehouse, but are set in actual casinos around the world.

From what I hear the player retention on these players are higher then normal casinos.

More casinos are opening their live dealer versions so it is natural that this will grow.

When you play these games they are slower but are more fun to play and you can trust the games even more.

I had pages created just for these casinos

and now have the same for live blackjack

These games will always be a popular alternative to playing against the computer.

Definitely interesting point… However, what about the issue of speed… What do you think will happen to help improve this given the overwhelming forecasts that this is a growing vertical?

Interesting points outlined on the pros and cons of Live Dealer Games, if anyone’s interested:

    From the article..

    Quote:
There is one complaint that comes up time and time again: the speed of live dealer games. The length of time between hands is generally longer than you will find in traditional online casinos and land based establishments.

I really don’t think that is an issue. I think its better if it is slower, especially if you are trying to get real world traditional players to play online. And then you don’t want these players to burn through cash in 5 mins, lose and feel jaded and not come back.

I’d rather have a player lose $500 in 2 hrs, then $500 in 30 mins.

I love the live dealer games. I’ve been promoting them since 2005, and definetely see a strong presence in the future as well. The live dealer niche is experiencing strong growth at the moment.

You would be surprised. Some players prefer a studio environment where there is more dealer interaction (ie. CelticCasino.com, CastleCasino.com, FairwayCasino.com, Playtech: EuropaCasino etc.) whereas other players prefer playing from a real brick and mortar casino (*ie. LuckyLiveCasino.com, Dublinbet.com, Casino Creed). They really are two different styles of play.

on the affiliate side you shouldn’t turn down a brand based on “studio” or “brick and mortar”. You will convert better if you offer both options.

Question for you- any insight on how to promote both? Any examples to get the most out of both methods?
