Has anyone notice another PR update? This is the quickest I have seen Google do this. People at GPWA are saying that their sites have dropped in PR.

Interesting.. thanks for the heads up. I checked my sites and they seem to be the same pr as they were with the last recent update..
July 18, 2011 at 6:00 pm #817470misswiggMemberwow I noticed a change too, very very odd
July 18, 2011 at 6:26 pm #817473cashforaccountMemberSomeone said that it is a roll back, I am not sure if it is or not.
Does anyone know what PR they were before not this update but the one before? Then after that update? And now?

Two of my newer sites had 0 pr before this update last week or the week before.. and they both scored a pr 2.. and.. and are both still pr 2. If it is a rollback, it didnt affect my sites, at least not yet..
July 18, 2011 at 10:18 pm #817478cashforaccountMemberUnless you had a penalty before that. Was your sites relatively new?
July 18, 2011 at 11:02 pm #817481burundiMemberYes the two I mentioned were brand new.. only couple months old. But all my other sites also showed no change at all since the last pr update.. all holding steady.. just checked again
July 18, 2011 at 11:09 pm #817482burundiMemberI found this in google:
Toolbar PageRank Update Fix: Google.com Returns To PageRank 10
Hope it helps..
July 19, 2011 at 5:53 am #817485abbykungMemberI noticed this today after my friend messaged me. I’ve never seen Google do a PR update before, and then do a revised PR update shortly after. Some of the my last PR increases stayed the same, some went down by 1, and some went up by 1. I guess Google is still adjusting itself (and penalizing spammy sites that were awarded too much pagerank)
July 19, 2011 at 2:58 pm #817491misswiggMemberThe results of my sites would fit in with the theory that its a rollback
July 21, 2011 at 10:00 pm #817580bluepironiMemberNone of my sites has returned to previous rankings

July 27, 2011 at 7:10 pm #817690nocturnalParticipantI got PR3 for couple of websites I never touched recently. And for the ones I have been working hard have the same PR.
July 28, 2011 at 1:27 pm #817715AletheidesMemberToolbar PR is not a measuring stick honestly. The only time I ever use it is when it hits Zero and other metrics like MozRank are still up there – this could indicate a penalty or simply an issue with the Toolbar … Yes, it is something we look at, but honestly only in link acquisition, not rankings …
