This is just in the rumor stages, so I don’t want to report it as news just yet, but thought you guys might be interested to know: The Merge Network is rumored to be considering accepting new U.S. players once again.
Merge stopped doing so in May, following the second wave of “Black Friday” crackdowns.
“However, US players who already had accounts on the network, which includes Hero Poker and Lock Poker, had been able to continue playing,” reports EGR.
“Meanwhile, poker blog Online Poker Insiders has revealed that a total of 18 ‘US-friendly’ sites have moved away from dot.com domains since Black Friday. Five of these sites – including Carbon Poker, which moved to a dot.ag domain within the last week – are on the Merge network.”
