Hi, im sure quite a few of you know me by now, as over the past 4-6 months i have been constantly asking for help and advice, which i thank you all for
I have been playing around with some new ideas for building a wordpress site, my first 3 sites on wp have all been built with a similar theme.
This new site is made to be simple and fast to load. What i have done though, and this is what i need advice on cuz it could be a really bad idea, is to put my affiliate links on pages with a meta refresh redirect, you will see when you click a casino link on my site. I know that google doesnt like this style of linking, does it see it as sneaky? so i have used some plugins to noindex and nofollow these pages, if done right do you think i would escape getting a google penalty?
I also want to get a silo structure on this site going, as the site is now its only actually 2 pages of content and about 25 pages of redirects, feel free to slay me with you reviews what do you guys/girls think? should i stop going in this direction now?
Anyway, here is the site
ukcasinobonus.org
Online Casino Bonuses | New UK Casinos | Best Deposit Bonusthanks

I have seen the site. I think you should worfk a bit on “Casino Bonus list” section. make the chart a bit catchy, you might use some buttons and icons there.
You can use full alignment to align the homepage text
Add something interesting on the sidebar.
Hope my suggestion does help.
Thanks
April 24, 2013 at 11:23 am #832846WalterMemberThe site is nice buddy, but I’d suggest a few changes based on my preferences:
– Your using a lot of tables (which I love) but there seems to be no call to actions within these. Okay, you’ve got William Hill and told me about the bonus and that they’re the best loved casino – but where do I click? This should be instantly obvious.
– The navigation doesn’t seem to have any logical structure, you’ve got Welcome Bonus then Sign-up Bonus (whats the difference) then Free Play Bonus. You jump straight into Top 5, Live Roulette, Casino Games, Blog & News after that. Keep it simple, I’d probably go with the following:
Home, Sign-up Bonuses, Free Play Bonuses, Casino Games, Live Casino Games, Top 5 Casino Reviews, Blog & News– Use buttons rather than banners, or both. For example the Live Roulette page recommends Castle Casino and has a banner at the bottom, include that, but also have a button/link which says ‘Click here to play now at Castle Casino’ – a lot of people don’t trust banners, cater for both. This applies on a few pages, I’ve just used this example.
I hope that helps you with your site, good luck
April 24, 2013 at 4:58 pm #832850voodoomanMemberJust make sure that those meta refresh links are no follow and then Google won’t mind them. I’ve been using this form of link redirecting for a few years and I don’t think Google has penalized me for it.

July 9, 2013 at 3:21 pm #833793miplcdegxnjvMemberhi there,
this is a nice site – the only thing that i would say is the some of the images look a little squashed. (specifically the winner one) and the background use a stretched image instead of tiles, so it looks uniform and you get the reflected side of the union jack, otherwise nice workJuly 12, 2013 at 11:07 am #833853jackcksnMemberHello itsblitz ,
a very British site. I like these styles, especially the background.
Your articles could be a little bit longer. Google loves content.
If you will open a 2nd WordPress page in the future, i recommend to make an investion in Thesis or Genesis WordPress Theme.

You need to trash the tables and go for CSS driven. If your not savvy on how to do this, there are WP plugins which effectively give you styled div elements, combined with a selection of widgets. You simple click and move, then add your content.
Using div layers and a CSS driven site will cut down you page size dramatically, while increasing you keyword, phrase ratios and a whole more other advantages. I’m not sure table work real well on mobiles, so it’s yet another reason to go tableless.
Apart from that I like your site.
I wouldn’t change anything. It’s clean and typically UK but that’s a good thingJuly 27, 2013 at 5:56 am #834101othersideincMember@orbetting 252338 wrote:

But you really need to fix the background.

Regarding the casino bonuses, you have seperate categories for welcome bonuses and sign up bonuses. I assume it’s for SEO but on the site I would just leave one category.
July 27, 2013 at 6:24 am #834104seedingltdMemberCheck your title tags for the Logo images under the “Top 5 Casino Bonuses” sidebar. Some of the titles are there, but they only reflect the file of the logo. Utilize title text when hovering over these images, or delete all of the (title=”blah blah”) to make it a bit more user friendly.
I love the site though and I would also have to say… nice work!
July 27, 2013 at 8:57 am #834108BorisMemberLittle bit different but looks good to me.

I’ve just tried it on an android mobile.
Main Navigation
Is located around the footer.Heading – Top Casino Picks
Jackpotcity logo and button hangs to the right of the table border.Top 5 Casino Bonuses
Sits to the Right in a really narrow column.Reiterating you need to trash the table lay-out and go for CSS. I’ll assume you don’t know how to do that or you’d have done it here. Hence, here is a WP page builder plugin that sets up Div Layers and everything you need to stop using tables and go to CSS driven:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/siteorigin-panels/Albeit to acheive the curved corners etc, etc you’ll still have to style this yourself in CSS. Which you’d add to the cutom.css file if your theme has that option.
In so far as the background. I like it. UK sites are generally all presented in a similar lay-out. The Union Jack background gives it a subtle gritty edge. IMO that’s appealing, given the site is bold in nature, the bg compliments the design.
