I’m looking to outsource some SEO work to help me deal with the Panda updates but everyone I’ve talked to wants big money and a minimum 6 month commitment with no guarantees. Is there anyone trustworthy out there that won’t require me to mortgage my house and can actually get me results? Any recommendations would be really appreciated.

You hit it on the head with your comments.

I have used one company, and they pulled one of my domains out from the dark and got it from 200 uniques a day to 800 uniques a day.

The cost was about $1000-2000 a month. They ran it for 3-4 months. I would need to check on the exact details.

The back of my head keep saying “what they did.. was that the reason why you increased by 300%… or was it Google and your past efforts”

PM if you are seriously interested.

That is exactly it. There’s no real way of knowing for sure. Thanks for the offer, i may well take you up on that. I think i’m going to do a little more research myself before i think about hiring anyone. At least then i’ll be able to avoid the obvious snake oil salesmen :tounge2:

    Keep it in house

I am sure there are many reputable SEO companies, but my experiences have never been good with outsourced.

I like to be able to see whats going on and have input into what and where they are doing it.

hire someone who knows SEO and give them the money you would have spent outsourcing your SEO

Hi, I’m a new in this of affiliate market. My site is only 3 months old, because I don’t know too much about this I purchase some backlink service in another forum. Is been 3 weeks and my site of being out of the top 100 in some keywords they are dancing in top 100. I’m not here to advertise anything since I don’t gain anything but I can give the link for the one that are searching for some outsourcing service, just pm me and I will give you any info.

no one can really guarantee anything, so don’t bother looking for a guarantee. if a company does provide a guarantee, run! all good seo work does take time…

I completely agree :) It can take up to 6 months before seeing any results from a good SEO campaign. If you can find a company that offers a guarantee, then they might be worth trying out. Then again, if they offer a guarantee, they are probably going to be expensive too. If you want to save money and be in full control, it’s probably best to learn about everything yourself from books or joining a website like seomoz.org.

I would highly recommend that you do searches online where you can find basic articles about SEO – enough to get you started on your own. Many so-called ‘SEO gurus” are really scams and want to charge you big money for information that you can find out on your own.

I’m not sure how long you have been in the industry or what you budget is, but personally I would reserve from paying large amounts to SEO companies until I have enough revenue to be able to risk loosing some $$ in case they do not deliver. Just my 2 cents.

Me & my partner have started our operation by taking the best SEO course available in our area. We are not webmasters, programmers, graphic designers, etc. (We use outsourcing for these functions) but we felt (and still feel) that SEO is just too critical of an element to leave out of our hands.

As an added bonus – having reached the first page for our desired keywords in less than 3 months since the site was launched is a major ego-trip :highflyer
