The Internet is just about to run out of IP addresses. A new system is planned to implement newer, longer IP addresses, and a smooth transition is expected, but web entrepreneurs should still be well aware of all the facts of the matter: New IP Addresses Soon to Appear

Yes, IPV6, has been in the works since the late 1990’s, I believe. Kinda weird that the transition has been made to it yet, given the explosion of websites and IP address demand. IPV6 should be able to handle increase for 100’s of years, based on the address space it provides. I think we’ll have bandwidth issues, before we have IP address issues, once it is implemented in full.

not sure if we will have bandwidth issues once we have a great network up and running.

i want to know the next step in domain names. .coms still are the big ones!

Where’s it going to be 10 years.. how valueable are .com’s going to be. Will there be an emergency of another primary domain extension that people will take up?
