    Yeah, may Democrats (the ones who would be behind this bill) are struggling for their political lives right now, so the last thing they are worrying about is UIGEA reversal, or any form of potentially alienating the constituency. Further, if the current polls are indicative of actual results, the Democrats will lose the House to the Republicans this November. If this happens, there is no possible way that UIGEA will get reversed. The Democrats surely had their chances to do so, but they never got their acts together, and will obviously be suffering the consequences. IMO, however, this is probably the best possible solution for US-based affiliates, in that legalization would have resulted in the commoditization of affiliate revenues (i.e., small CPA’s at best) on the part of Las Vegas. Of course, this scenario, is not the best result for US-based players.
