    A news report is stating that the National Football League, a long-time opponent of regulated and legalized online gambling in the U.S., has ended its war against Barney Frank’s Internet gambling bill. Read more here.

    Great. Let’s pick this up in 2011; it would be a waste of energy to pursue this, before elections.

    Now why did I know this would happen?

    Because Harrahs and the NFL were the main lobbyists for UIGEA.

    Now, a lot of the softwares previously facing the US have left. Harrah’s has hired Party to manage it’s online presence. So, the playing field is clear and it’s time to repeal the law they helped create.

    Now Harrahs is lobbying for legal online gambling and the NFL shows up and is for it also.
