Add Iowa to the growing list of states that want to beat federal lawmakers to the punch by integrating a new, state-run system of online gaming to their existing lottery platforms (thereby keeping all that online gambling money in their pockets and most likely prohibiting offshore brands from their borders). I think it’s a first step, once they see money rolling in they will consider expansion IMO…
Again, these legislators are missing the big picture – the midterm elections ! Don’t even try to gain momentum for something like this until the mid-term elections have passed, and the political & morale arguments have subsided a bit. You have to know when to pick your fights, and if your timing is wrong, you run out of bullets fast. Do they not see that ? Politics 101.
