The issue with the Red Hot Revenue affiliate program is well known – affiliates have not been paid for over a year, and they are impossible to contact/get replies from.
Obviously most affiliates are not promoting them and have blacklisted them. But the affiliate program is still live and it is possible to check stats etc. Therefore it is possible for me to see that the players I have refered to the casinos are still playing and the casinos are earning money on them, but without intention of paying what I am owed.
I have been in dialogue with the complaints officer, Sarah Wray, at Playtech for approx. half a year now. She has informed me that they are in contact with their licensee, and that they were applying pressure on them.
However, the dialogue has now shown not to be fruitful, and Playtech has informed me that they have no power over their licensee. Thus they are accepting that their licensee are continueing to operate their casinos and the affiliate program, but without the intention of paying affiliates. I think it is unacceptable that a software provider can let this happen and just say that they have no power over their licensee. The software provider is the only one who has the power to pull the plug when something like this happens.
Anyone interested in getting a link to their RHR blacklist page at RHR Casinos (Playtech) Blacklist | Casino Bonus Guide – Casino Bonus News please PM me. I would also be happy if you would link to the above page.
Any thoughts on this statement from Playtech about not being able to help affiliates?
April 16, 2010 at 2:16 am #809499AnonymousInactiveSame thing as happened with Grand Prive and Microgaming.
And RTG turns a blind eye on all kinds of rogues.

Yes, at least RTG has this reputation, and therefore it is known that you really have to be careful when choosing between RTG casinos. But I had this naive belief that Playtech was in another league. As a listed and reputable company they should have a reputation to uphold, but as you say they are all just the same – I guess, puting profit above anything else. No need to believe that Playtech is any better than RTG and other shady software providers then.
April 16, 2010 at 1:36 pm #809509AnonymousInactiveNo, I definitely don’t think Playtech is any better.
I had that belief about Microgaming and – no more.
April 19, 2010 at 9:25 am #809551jamescoopsMemberSo which of the better brands do you propose since I’m new in this business. I have all the names you mentioned in my affiliate. I hope I just don’t get gypped one way or another. I do hope you could give me some pointers.
April 19, 2010 at 12:59 pm #809557AnonymousInactiveIf you go here Casino Affiliate Programs to look at the list of programs, some have a “certified” icon. These have been voted good by us affiliates. I think there may be a list of just them someplace but I don’t know where…
You also need to go to all the program forums here in the forum section of the site below and click on the one you are considering and see if issues have been resolved.
When you want to add one to your site, you can also make a post here and ask us and people will tell you about their experiences.
April 19, 2010 at 1:32 pm #809562jamescoopsMemberFantastic! I’ve gone over it and saw a friend ‘affactive’. Thank you for the list and concern. You’ve done great job keeping us guys here well informed I was about to sleep when I saw an email coming from this site.
April 19, 2010 at 10:57 pm #809576AnonymousInactiveI am a little surprised about the bad feedback I have received about Playtech in general as a software provider. I think I will outfase Playtech casinos and stay away from these in the future.
At GPWA I got the feedback that their nickname is Playwreck…
April 20, 2010 at 12:37 am #809581AnonymousInactiveHaha, good nick for them.
The software is nice and there are some good ones, but not all are good.
Due diligence is needed, just like with RTG.
April 20, 2010 at 12:47 am #809582jackybetMemberYep this is not cool.
April 23, 2010 at 9:06 pm #809716AnonymousInactiveThanks for the support. The rumour is spreading fast, e.g. Playtech Casinos Get Blacklisted. Please let me know if you have similiar articles or Red Hot Revenue Blacklist pages, and I will gladly link to them.
April 26, 2010 at 4:35 pm #809752AnonymousInactiveI was finally paid by Red Hot Revenue. A big thanks to everyone who helped out and also to Playtech for pulling the right strings.
I am not going to lift the blacklist of RHR just yet, before other affiliates are paid? Any status?
April 26, 2010 at 4:42 pm #809753jamescoopsMemberCongrats Bro, Nice work there by CAP. One big cheers for this one.

May 27, 2010 at 10:16 pm #810414AnonymousInactiveThank god we have forums like this to help us out. Otherwise we’d be screwed by many programs.
