It was recently revealed that revenues brought in by land-based gambling in California have declined for the first time ever. And of course, that’s adding more fuel to the online poker-legalization fire in the state. Read more here.
Personally, I think that this is all about the state of the economy in California. High unemployment, severely declining real estate values, and humongous state debt, are all contributing to this decline, IMO.
