In a bit of a surprising move, the Poker Players Alliance’s director has stated that he’s trying to get anti-online gambling Senator Jon Kyl’s help in keeping online poker legal. Get the details at the CAP News page.

It’ll be a cold day in Hell, before Kyl becomes an advocate of online poker. I don’t understand the logic of soliciting his help at this point – he is a nemesis to the industry. If the PPA would do anything related to Kyl, they should be funding the campaign of his opposition for the upcoming election (I think he’s up for re-election). There is no way, Kyl would play ball with the PPA.

Yeah, not as if anyone was holding their breath, but Kyl didn’t exactly go along with the PPA’s plan on this one … Kyl Derails Poker Player Alliance’s Petition | PokerNews
