In a hearing yesterday intended to get the ball rolling on legalized online sports betting in New Jersey, some lawmakers went after the NFL’s opposition to such plans, calling the huge pro sports organization “hypocritical”. Read about it here.
This is nothing new, as they have been anti-online-sports-betting for quite some time now. Lots has to do with the protection of their profitable and legal online fantasy sports. So yes, it is totally hypocritical, but it all about protecting their turf and their quite lucrative business.
