Hey all, I’ve been out of the loop for awhile. Is Netelller a good option for Canadians looking to move money around and get it into their bank accounts again? I know I had withdrawn everything from it a couple years ago when the rumours they were going to stop letting Canadians use it were floating around. I see my account with them is still active and it appears they might be doing ok. Is it a safe option for online transactions for Canadians? Thanks.
Neteller for Canadians really isnt too good. Gambling companies will have a hard time sending you money, also when I spoke on the phone to them I was told that Canadians can no longer wire out of neteller or deposit directly to bank account… Being a Canadian company, they seem to have been regulated pretty bad. The best you can do is request a cheque, or spend via the online or offline credit/debit card.
Rewards was unable to send me money via neteller, CWC was unable to send me money via neteller, and thats where I stopped.

Does neteller still accept Canadian users? I was under the impression (years ago) that those of us (Canadians) with Neteller accounts were sort of grandfathered in – but that they planned to stop taking Canadian registrations.

Canadians can still make neteller accounts. I suppose it could still be useful, but not if you are looking for something to wire or direct deposit to/from your bank account. I wouldnt bother with it if you plan to use it to be paid by gambling companies either… they were pretty clear with with me regarding their position on that.. and when I attempted anyway, it turned out to be a complete waste of time.
