Hey Guys,
Right well I have just finished an 8 page word document for a review of a bingo site. I have decided to give a BIG review of every bingo site etc… and provide people with exclusive bonus codes and promotions. I know there is no way of stopping people copying parts of my review and things, but what’s the best way of finding out if anyone has copied my content and put it on their own? There’s nothing worse than people stealing content and claiming it as their own.
Thanks,

I’ve never bothered with it though – so can’t share any personal views.February 4, 2010 at 8:28 pm #808045electroboyMemberGenerally after posting my stuff I usually go trough a couple of months later and check snippets of my articles, allthough it is almost impossible from keeping someone from copying content, I have had some content of my own copied, but it did not really seem to affect my rankings and actually one of the sites that did eventually vanished.
My own perception from people copying content is that one, they are serious about what they are doing and two they wont last long in the business.

February 4, 2010 at 10:26 pm #808048AnonymousInactiveSpeaking of copy theft, there’s a site out there that’s stealing our CAP News stories, word for word:
Party Poker May Become Huge In The U.S. |This site also steals stories from other sources, but there are more than one of ours that have been stolen on its news page. Anyone know who runs this site?

………………………..OP – yeah copyscape is great i check weeky and chase people for hours and hours each week and contact their affiliate managers….
I never stop till they are ruined!! I will do anything i can to absolute ruin them until they remove the content but it does take allot of time.
We pay for everything and get all unique articles everytime..
People who steal them are scum of the earth so i would not hesistate if i were you to do everything it takes to shut them down if you can.
Heres what i do with these scum.
1. Find out everything about them i can – where they host, what their name is, what forums they post on ect ect..
2. Contact their host, contact their Ams, contact their linkers – people who link to them
3. Post their site and name in full online everywhere i can. Make sure you add the word SCAM beside their name.
4. Shame them disgracefully.
5. Email them non stop for days on end. If they decline your email address create anew one and continue non stop with all out agression.
6 Do whatever it takes to get the content to be removed.
7. Plaster their name on facebook – chase them on facebook.
8. Rogue them on your site – website rogues….a page on your site to share rogue affilaites… link to them as a scammer.Basically do everything to ruin them business wise, non stop full force attack on them in every way possible to get their business to stop.
LOL – theres more but they are rather ruthless… :inlove:

I spend a lot of time playing games and taking screenshots and editing those images for inclusion in my sites. Every now and then by pure chance you stumble upon someone who’s lifted them.
livebaccarat.org is one such thief.
I’ve let the programs he’s promoting know but beyond that don’t have the energy to waste on d#@kheads like this
