Why do I get such odd results in google.com
to me it looks like tons of pages are missing
as example the results i get for CAP
GOOGLE.CO.UK
1 – 10 von ungefähr 339.000 von casinoaffiliateprograms.comGOOGLE.COM
Results 1 – 10 of about 7,290 from casinoaffiliateprograms.comJanuary 17, 2010 at 11:27 am #807502AnonymousInactiveJanuary 17, 2010 at 8:06 pm #807517AnonymousInactiveTry mentioning and linking to some of your deep pages on some of your top pages. Rotate this.
This is an issue that can happen to large sites and the above is what I found to work for me.
January 18, 2010 at 2:01 am #807523biggygMemberHey Bonus Paradise,
Try not to panic either sometimes it is just a couple days and all back to normal:)January 18, 2010 at 12:25 pm #807530electroboyMemberOne of the reasons in that URL is that google may see similar content, in my case I had this issue, sometime back
I have someone writing some of my articles and if they are similar and of the same type of content, Google will definitely ignore them and push them to the side, although I still have some one writing my content. I try to do at least 2 or 3 articles myself of unique content and it does make a difference.

i understand she is not talking about her own website
but about her google results….
comparing a searcg for “cap” on g.com and g.co.ukJanuary 18, 2010 at 9:45 pm #807561LucretiaMemberIt looks to me that :
the site needs reindexing because of the use of http:// while original was xhttp://www. but due to lots of (duplicate) content it can take months for google to list the pages again.
Second a seo update for vbull along with the reindexing might need more additional time.
Since your site jumped for PR just add content but do not try to make seo mods during the reindexing and all will be fine after a few months.:hattip:
January 19, 2010 at 2:16 am #807565baitemanMemberHow are you measuring your indexed pages? Are you simply using the “site” command? Has your traffic gone down? If you are using the “site” command, please understand that this is by no means a 100% accurate measure of the number of pages Google has indexed. Also remember that the .com and .co.uk indices are different. As someone else pointed out, the .co.uk most likely includes all the forums posts where as the .com index probably has put the bulk of the posts / threads in the supplemental index because they are very similar. At the end of the day if your traffic hasn’t been affected I wouldn’t be too worried.
January 19, 2010 at 7:27 am #807567AnonymousInactivethank you all for your feedback,
things is, I noticed a traffic drop on my site Online Gambling Portal – BonusParadise.com
I noticed it around 20 november, I seen less and less results in google .com
and I also checked some other sites, which have a vbulletin forum, so also cap.Everywhere I see so much less results in google.com
even for casinomeister.Well if google now really does filter that much and remove so many forum posts which they find are not worth to be indexed, this can cause a traffic drop for forums, what you think?
I cannot tell my members please try to post diffrent subjects and add more content, lol
Although I already do edit subjects if I see they would cuz a duplicate title issue.Well seems forums are not the good traffic bumbers anymore?

Yes I had a change to no www early last year, that re-index was already done.
I had a vbseo upgrade in september which did not went well.
I have found that out then 3 weeks later and fixed it.yup, my site added PR begin januar, the index went from 2 to 3
so I was also hoping this is a good sign. You say a re-index can take months, lol
I was thinking google is now faster.January 19, 2010 at 9:33 am #807569AnonymousInactiveok, I just noticed some of the areas and post on my forum have a white PR again, they have been grey, and some even got the pr1 back.
So, might be all come back to normal again,
Still, the big diffrence I see between google com, google uk and google de
for so many sites, does not make sense to me at all.Oh another thing, does aynone know what this wonderwheel should be?

http://www.googlewonderwheel.com/January 20, 2010 at 3:37 am #807598baitemanMemberWonderwheel is anything but wonderful. Nobody uses it so I wouldn’t worry about that. As far as reindexing is concerned, it takes time. Have you checked the cache view of any of your forums pages to see the last time they were updated? If you do not know how to check this let me know. Post a url and I will show you how to do it.
