“Quiet but Deadly” Frenchman from Brittany follows November Nine performance with 7th-Place Finish at WSOPE Main Event in London

    From the CAP PR page:

October 7, 2009 (CAP PR Wire) — Team Everest Poker’s Antoine Saout, the quiet but deadly Frenchman from Brittany, followed his November Nine performance by finishing 7th at the WSOPE Main Event in London.

Antoine saw off some of the best players in the world to record another final table with a prize of £114,228. Other recent noticeable wins since reaching the final of the WSOP include cashing in a Barriere Poker Tour event and in the Partouche Poker Tour Final in Cannes, France.

Sandrine Mangia-Park, Everest’s Poker Director commented: “It has been so exciting to watch him develop from a $50 WSOP qualifier to becoming one of the best, and consistent, players in the world in just four months.”

Antoine himself is pleased but not surprised and said: “I am glad that my decision to concentrate on poker has proved right and this was where I wanted to be – challenging for tournaments against the best. Did I think it would happen this quickly? Maybe not but I am here to stay now!”

Antoine will start the EPT London on Saturday 3rd October and you can follow his progress at http://www.everestpokerblog.com. If you want to find out how you can become a sponsored player yourself visit: http://www.everestpoker.com/live-the-dream.
