So, maybe there are tools out there and sites that I don’t know of where you can search on multiple search engines in one place?

I just found this one xxxwww.easyfindit.net/ – Is a great thing to use as I personally hate opening several tabs when wanting to search on multiple search engines! This is a site with inbuilt multi-search engine searchability :hattip:

    Enjoy.

nice find. Its pretty simple to use and cross check the top 10 for a keyword across different search engines. It would be cool if there were a way to enter your domain and it would run the search and jump to the first page you were on. That way I could see I’m result 5 in yahoo, 14 in google and 26 on Bing.

Nonetheless, I might use this once in a while, thanks!

Just remember with Google results from any tool like this they pull from the API which may be different in many cases from what an actual visitor may see due to: localization, geo-targeting, search history and user intent.

    You’re welcome!

Yeah, it’s a step in the right direction in making things easier for us site owners, and I hope the next step will be your idea coming to realization, sounds like a grand idea! Surely it’s not so difficult also… Just enter the keyword/s and site URL and they get matched up and show results of the page they appear on!

Asides from using i.e. google.co.uk instead of google.com etc, is there any other way of seeing the specific results for different countries/locations?

Also, surely the next Google update is this month, no?

Well if you are in the US and use Google UK you will get different results than someone with an IP based there .. so that is not a solution honestly. You would need to have access to an IP from that country in order to do that accurately. Bruce Clay has a tool that has proxy surfing right from the browser tool bar .. you can specify country you want to search from (limited list right now but growing) – http://www.seotoolset.com/tools/toolbar.html
