We were recently approached by Adrac Ltd to use their advertising services and in particular for a deal on a new search engine (ADRAC searcher.co.uk) they claimed to promote on UK TV. Their approach was polite and very enthusiastic and when asked for performance projection and figures, they simply said that it was extremely successful and that we would come back to advertise more keywords. Adrac also added that many similar sites has used similar keywords and were flooded by clicks.
We therefore proceeded and purchased exposure for 3 highly popular keywords for the year. After a week the links only generated 1 click which happened to belong to us. Having read Adrac T&C’s we quickly took the decision to claim a refund as we then knew that their claim was a fraudulent misrepresentations of their performances.
We discuss the case to one of the most senior manager (Alf Bird) who apologised and agreed to send us a refund. This was in June 2009. Since then, we sent emails, called 3 times a week and continued to do so until now. Each time, Alf Bird from Adrac indicated that the refund had been approved and was with their account department. We still haven’t received 1 penny.
Furthermore, we have monitored the traffic from the link displayed on searchers.co.uk and we have only had 3 clicks in over 3 months.
Don’t be fool by ADRAC polite approach, they DO NOT DELIVER. THEY LIE ABOUT THEIR PERFORMANCE!! ITS A SCAM. I have heard similar stories about all of their services, their site looks good, their approach seems professional but they are only here to take your money; they will not deliver and any investment with Adrac will be a complete wasteOctober 6, 2009 at 2:10 pm #804594madonnalMemberAdrac have now apologised and made a full refund. The matter is now closed
