If possible, I would like to get a discussion going about the stats for Silver Oak Casino. If you guys are going to turn this casino (and your other brands) around and make them respected places in the industry, I think you should see if you can change things while it’s still early in regards to your bonus system.

I haven’t been promoting this casino for very long, but from what I can see, the stats are looking to be a lot like Gambling Wages stats.

What I mean is that it appears as though there are a great deal of bonuses that severely impact the affiliate stats.

Are other affiliates seeing the same thing as myself?

It would be great if Ace Revenue could use a system like CWC & Mainstreet in regards to bonuses. I think we’d all see better results if this were the case. I also think this would help minimize any potential player issues that may arise from the many bonuses that are available.

    Here’s hoping for change! :capmiami:

    Hi ya,

I was just wondering if you got a response to this topic offline or something as I can’t see that they have replied.

I had a call from Ace Revenue the other day asking for more players etc etc.. but so far haven’t seen them do much about ‘making things right’ . (and if they can call they can post on CAP).

Bearing in mind the fact they have a number of ‘domains / labels’ without affiliate programs where players are currently most likely to end up with multiple accounts and therefore if they do deposit and win – won’t be able to cash-out – I’m really quite stunned that this is CAP Certified!

I’ll make a separate topic about ‘all the other casinos’ and hopefully at least one of us will get a response! ;)

    Cheers,
    Geno/CC

Here are two parts of their response when I asked about their crazy stats:

I would like to offer an apology for not being able to answer you in CAP, we are deeply encouraged to develop our new website, reason why we haven’t being able to be around there.

We agree in your thoughts, we are going to be making some changes in our system to help affiliates to convert better from our site. Please be patient, you will see better conversions this month.

My problem wasn’t with their conversions (I never told them that it was). I said the numbers were crazy (very much like Gambling Wages stats).

Needless to say, they are no longer on my sites and won’t be anytime soon.

    Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply – actually I hadn’t even had much of a detailed look at the stats but just did so and very glad I re-read what you put there!

WOAH! At this rate I’m NEVER going to earn on these!

I think (for now), safest thing is to ‘pull’ these down – because if my ‘real depositor’ players are constantly being knocked down by the many non- (and probably multiple account / bonus abuser types too) then I’m never going to earn and I’d also fail to see how a casino expects to make any money when they offer so many No Deposit Bonuses.

I’ve displayed my last few months here (i think I’ll consider their low-weighted trial ‘UP’) for now..

Casino Pay Period Clicks Downloads Signups Unique
Sessions Initial Deposits Depositors Deposits With-drawals Net Win
    silver 12/1/2008 8 0 0 0 $0.00 0 $0.00 $0.00 $0.00
    silver 1/1/2009 1252 1365 555 553 $150.00 3 $320.00 ($75.00) ($3,081.37)
    silver 2/1/2009 745 698 248 454 $125.00 3 $125.00 $0.00 ($5,635.65)
    silver 3/1/2009 362 327 93 253 $80.00 2 $430.00 ($225.00) ($11,600.54)

    And this month even worse!
Clicks Downloads Signups Unique Sessions Initial Deposits Depositors Deposits With-
    drawals Net Win
    2367 2390 896 1260 $355.00 8 $875.00 ($300.00) ($20,317.56)

$875 worth of deposits – $300 withdrawals but a Negative Revenue of $20K!!! ?? WTF!!??

Thanks very much again for letting me know.

As for ‘not having time for CAP’ .. well I can partly understand that perhaps – but then why bother having a forum on here if they’re not going to use it and respond!? Isn’t that the whole point? LOL

Cheers v much. I’ll be de-activating these sites for now until if/when they sort all the other things out..

Feel free to post my stats if it will help you explain them (I never did get a detailed explanation of my stats via email).

My stats are very similar to Geno’s. It didn’t take either of us long to see that the stats aren’t right and are very similar to Gambling Wages (where your bonuses are creating huge negatives and clearing out any potential earnings).

Well, I’m very pleased I popped on here today and spotted your topic NoDepositNeeded!

As I use StatsRemote for most of my programs I don’t tend to look at stats so much until they are on there, but I’m really glad I double checked.

Personally whilst it’s great to have a phone call – I think it’s always best for an ‘honest’ program to show they can fully respond ‘publicly’ so that it’s there for all (the affiliate community) to see.

There’s been a reasonable number (not loads but a few) and it’s worrying that if I’d got more depositors here then it would have been even worse to have seen a decent amount of revenue being eaten up by silly bonuses.

I’ve now pulled these off my sites and replaced with a ‘Pending Review’ banner…

As for you guys, Ace Revenue, please call me once you have sorted out ALL of the above. These are things you can fix BEFORE you go ‘live’ (if you really want to be legit’ to both affiliates and players alike).

I’ll keep subscribed to this topic for updates if and when you have time :)

    Cheers for now,

    Total Deposits: $2,358
    Total Withdrawals: $50

    Net Profit: (13,760.86)

My problem is with the net profit.

Your coupons amounts ($34,303.60 in my case) are having a severe negative impact on the net profit and are killing any possible earnings.

As you can see from your stats you have a conversion from every 77 sign ups.

Our top affiliates average 1 conversion per 20 sign ups.

The normal average is around 35 per sign up.

It seems like you have a lot of free chippers coming from your site.

The average bonus given from the casino on each deposit is around 150%.

So let’s take a look at your stats:

Over the course of 4 months your 8 players have deposited $2,358.00 if you take that amount and times it by 150%+ the deposit amount is = $3,537.00 which leaves you around $30,766.00 of bonus money. Now take that amount and times it by 611 (619-8) that gives you and average free chip of $50.00 per player.

Also, give us 24 hours and we will have our fraud department check to see how many of those accounts are multiple.

If I may make a few suggestions:

    1. Don’t push free chips as much.
    2. Build a deposit only page or website.
    3. If you offer a lot of free chip’s go with a CPA deal.

We can offer you a deal that may suite the type of players you bring, I will send you an email with an offer that I know you will like.

    Best regards,

I am not questioning your conversion rates now, nor have I ever questioned your conversion rates.

You need to change the way bonuses affect the net profit. I promote “no deposit” offers for many other RTG’s and they do not have the same problem that you (and Gambling Wages) have. Please take a look at how CWC & Inetbet (to name a few) calculate their stats.

Also, give us 24 hours and we will have our fraud department check to see how many of those accounts are multiple.

I’m not sure why this matters or how it is relevant to the stats issue. If anything, the “multiple” accounts should be removed from the stats altogether and thus reduce the amount of bonuses.

If I may make a few suggestions:

    1. Don’t push free chips as much.
    2. Build a deposit only page or website.

While I appreciate your suggestions, I would much rather you fix your problems rather than giving me ways to work around them.
