Big neglected sports betting site for sale/exchange

Some time ago I purchased http://www.theoffshoreedge.com because I wanted to own a betting forum. The forum was (and still is) neglected, but has previously been very active. I bought it because I thought that it had big potential, and I still think it has. Some of the moderators are still on board, and are willing to help with restoring the activity in the forum.

The forum has 23.000+ threads and 136.000+ posts with approx. 6500 members (know the forum software says 9000 – but a lot of the sign ups during the last 6 months are spam sign-ups, and I cannot figure out how to delete them…

I have however realized that I have absolutely no interest in sports betting – especially American sports, which is the primary discussion element in the forum. Therefore I would prefer to sell to someone who can make this in to a great site – I am also willing to exchange with poker/casino/bingo sites.

What have I done since I bought the forum?

-Removed a non-seo friendly front page at http://www.theoffshoreedge.com
-Bought a new template for the site – can be seen on http://www.theoffshoreedge.com ( as you can see it is not 100% implemented yet) The template is included in the sale)
-Bought a few link packages
-Changed a couple of SEO stuff on the forum
-Bought 20 or so optimized pages around sports picks, tennis picks etc.
-Bought and uploaded 6-7 sportsbook reviews

There are no sold links on the site!

Someone who knows how to manage a forum can turn this around quickly. Since I do not have an interest in sports betting I am willing to let it go for the price I paid for it $2000 + a permanent link

I expect that the price can pretty much be earned selling links, since the site has 28.100 indexed pages in google…

(template, content, links etc. that I have bought afterwards can be considered a bonus)
