The hotel is around the corner and you just take the tube directly from the airport.January 12, 2009 at 5:31 pm #792391AnonymousInactive@mr.noise 193660 wrote:

Hotel can’t be far from the tube as it’s dead in the middle.

It’s always the guys who say the tube is easy–they’re not the ones with two heavy suitcases, laptop and handbag to schlep around!

LOL I was thinking the same thing. If you can afford it then take or share a taxi. I could not imagine taking public transportation with anything other than my purse.

When did you say that? Was it somewhere between the ‘uh’ and the ‘oh?’

Actually it was the uh-oh. It just came out wrong
January 13, 2009 at 12:07 am #792428AnonymousInactiveSomewhere between the Tube and the Taxi is the Heathrow express to Paddington, which is about a 15 minute trip, and is much easy to get to street level and taxis than the tube. There is even first class, which may or may not have porters to deal with bags. i’ve heard a cab from heathrow can be a fortune and a long ordeal.

First class rail travel in this country normally just means a different colour seat cover
