if you dont announce it in public, then it probably is.
If you hang out at the bar at a conference and ask the same question, you’ll get as many different answers as people sitting there, or more. Ranging from “Of course” to “Of course not” to “What F#$% do I care, i don’t live there”
it’s not really a useful excercise to ask for legal advice on a board like this, since there are not only the legal issues of this industry involved, but in the US it’s frowned upon to give out legal advice without a license to practice law.
But this is the right place to ask for names of lawyers that you can ask for this sort of legal advice.
