Well, its hardly going to be a ‘summer of love’ for me as it seems that ClubWorld has started doing what Gambling Wages are infamous for and throwing out huge numbers of credits to players, thereby resulting in, well, no commission.
Here’s my numbers for the month :
Downloads :246
Registrations : 81
Unique Sessions :124
Initial Deposits : $1,520.00
Depositors: 20
Deposits :$16,408.34
Withdrawals: ($7,290.00)
Gross Win: $11,918.01
Credits : $11,219.83
Chargebacks :$0.00
Net Win: $698.18And before you say that old line about ‘well, when the bonuses get played back, it all evens out’, what happens when they don’t get played back. I’ve been sending you 20 new depositing players each month for well over and year and yet my commissions never seem to increase incrementally.
Oh, and my commission is showing as a negative for the month, despite a positive net win.
Apart from that, everything is just hunky dory.

June 30, 2009 at 1:25 pm #801452AnonymousInactiveWow. Just looked and mine looks normal…
June 30, 2009 at 3:11 pm #801456AnonymousInactiveWell, if you break it down even further, I’ve noticed that my LuckyRed players have deposited a total of $462.00 and have been given over $1500 in credits. I’m getting well and truly shafted. Thanks ClubWorld – much appreciated.

Looks like my players take the bonus, if this is the column credits.

June 30, 2009 at 7:25 pm #801471AnonymousInactiveI just added lucky red and my first player deposited $150 and got 59 cents in credits.

Honestly? …
If you promote a casino that has a 400% welcome bonus (as Lucky Red Casino does) then I reckon it’s a bit much to be complaining that the casino actually delivers on that promise by giving a 400% bonus ???!!!!
:roflmao:I’ll agree that you are not making profits – but as to getting “shafted” ….
:sarcasm:June 30, 2009 at 11:05 pm #801477AnonymousInactiveOK, Gooner – thanks for your input. Feel free to patronise someone else, however.
Firstly, I don’t actually promote LuckyRed. The players I have acquired for LuckyRedCasino have come via internal CWC promotions to players within their database. Because I originally brought these players to the ClubWorld Group, now that they are playing at LuckyRed, they have been assigned to my affiliate account.
The LuckyRed thing is merely a side issue.
The main issue is what I wrote in my original post.
I know you think you are terribly smart and very important in the gambling industry, but really, your willingness to jump on your peers is a little tiresome. There’s a legitimate issue here.
July 1, 2009 at 5:55 am #801481AnonymousInactivePatronising? If having the correct analysis of numbers being pointed out to you feels that way then so be it. I’ll live with it.
You have a 400% bonus casino (LuckyRed) that pays 400% credits.
That’s NOT being shafted (despite your assertion in the LuckyRed numbers post that it was).
As YOU hadn’t made the connection I mentioned it.Regarding the other numbers it seems that credits are around 60-80% of deposits – again it’s in line with what the casino advertises on it’s banners with a 100% bonus.
As I recall Gambling Wages used a category called “manager credits” to boost the credits way above the carded rate when compared to deposits.
With these numbers that you posted it seems that bonus credits are being paid in line with advertising – both at LuckyRed and a CWC Casinos as a whole … so where is the shafting?
What is the ligitimate issue?

How does this “internal promotion” work, this is X promotion or not ?
How does this procedure work, I thought this was not possible ?to Gooner : thanks for your contribution always appreciated !
July 1, 2009 at 8:54 am #801484AnonymousInactiveGee, Gooner. Maybe it was ROFLMAO smilie in your post that made me think you were being patronising. Just a thought.
Or was it the sarcasm smilie at the end of that post. I forget now.

I don’t actually look too hard at the descriptions of the smilies when adding them to a post – I just choose the ones that are displayed along the side that seemed to fit.
I can see that the eyes rolling smilie is titled “sarcasm” – that wasn’t the emotion I was going for with the reply to your post – nor rolling on the floor laughing. So I’ll be much more careful with smilies in future …
I simply meant the casino are living up to their 400% offer – which is a good thing for players – and so I don’t think that the stats example means that you are being shafted at all.
(insert smilie that means I doubt any shafting going on – but definately not sarcasm)July 1, 2009 at 10:21 am #801490AnonymousInactiveOK, Gooner, apology accepted.
My issue wasn’t particularly with the Lucky Red stats I posted. As I said, I don’t promote them. My concerns are these :
1. Despite a positive net win, my balance seems to be negative.
2. I can’t be certain but it looks like loads of credits have been given out right at the end of the month, which effectively means I earn nothing while ClubWorld has 20 new players and $16k in deposits.
3. Because of the increasingly generous bonuses given out to new players, it is actually more profitable for me not to send them new players.
4. I know that commissions should even out when bonuses are played through, but what happens when players are given a bonus and then never use it.
July 1, 2009 at 1:31 pm #801492AnonymousInactiveHigh bonuses can work wonders when you get a whale swimming by – they will go for the huge bonus and forget about the freebie that lets them spin the slots a couple times.
So I have had some good redults with these, but as a rule I like to keep them at a reasonable level. There are times though when a casino wants to attract a bunch more players, and the results should show up in following months if the players continue to play without the huge welcome bonus.
Like Gooner said, these are welcome bonuses, not manager credits applied at will. It’s the manager bonuses at some RTG casinos that kill all revenues..
I would wait a month or so and see what happens with the new players this promo brought in…

Hi Tryme, I will take a look into this for you. However you will have to hang with me for an answer as I am currently on paternity leave following the birth of my son on Saturday, but I will get on this for you for sure and see whats happening. First thoughts are a winner (with withdrawals) on top of credits claimed/issued.
Regards to ‘stale’ bonuses, those that dont get used, these get sweeped after a specific amount of time that I will need to check with the casino manager as to what this time frame is.

How does this procedure work, I thought this was not possible ?When we launched Lucky Red we hit a list of CWC players (not sure on official figures so wont quote any as they will be purely guess work) those that contained an affiliate tag who then played at Lucky Red as a result of the email were then tagged to the original affiliates referals. So this means that you would gain players for a casino without actually promoting them. No special promotion, the boss is good like that.
