I’ve got one of the Globe Wallet / First Pay cards which Neteller have been pushing for about a year.

Suits me fine, works in any ATM machine here in New Zealand, enabling me to withdraw cash (while getting raped on the exchange rates) 24 hours after I transfer from my Neteller account.

However, I noticed Neteller are now pushing a new card (Net) and there is no longer any option to withdraw to my Firstpay/ Globewallet card….This STINKS.

I’ve never received any email advising me that the Firstpay option would be removed (as they obviously know I would have emptied my account), surely this isn’t legal?

Has anyone else had this happen to them (perhaps I’ve missed the thread?)

Of course I’m going to have to sign up for their new card, but their ‘non action’ fee’s are what annoys me. I tend to keep my Neteller account building for a few months and then withdraw in chunks to save on fees, but this new card is going to charge me a monthly fee if I don’t use it!

Am I missing something here? I hope I’ve got all my ducks lined up. I’ve sent an email to support, but we all know how responsive Neteller are on email…so I’ll keep you posted in a few days time.

My CAP Downunder cash is sitting in that account!!!!

    Update:

Captain dumbass here didn’t look at expiry date….doh. It’s expired. My own fault, I should have checked that first! I guess I can be forgiven, we’re all a bit more Neteller weary these days aren’t we.

Time to get screwed on more fees…

This thread is my first notice about the new Neteller Card.
Even my country is in the list for ATM usage, I can’t apply for the new card right now.

I have a nice 22 position in the queue for online chat and 3 days to change my payment info with some Affiliate Programs.

AFFILIATE MANAGERS: Maybe this a good time to think in a more stable payment method like Ezipay or Affiliate Speed Pay.

Has anyone been asked to verify their account again?
I have been with neteller for yours and verified it years ago and make tonnes of transations, now when I login they keep asking for new documents :sarcasm:

This thread is my first notice about the new Neteller Card.

The new neteller virtual card you can have additional to your prepaid card
the virtual card is to pay online direct from your neteller account
means you not need to fund 1st your prepaid, i have right now both cards.

we had an account review and all was done fast and without much hassles
even they did ask to explain who is and why is, to where we transferred or received money, lol
but this was no biggie and easy to explain.
    All went fine,

yes they do again account reviews and also want people to verify addresses and documents,
I find it good that they do, in the virtual world happens to much
Neteller tries the best to be really secure.

Yes I had to provide a proof of address document (utility bill).
I had received an email about this in early October as well.

My Globe Wallet card from Neteller expired at the end of September, I re-applied for a new card at the end of August.

On 22 September I recieved an email saying my new card was sent out and can take upto 21 days. I recieved the card on 15th October, activated it and went to make a withdrawal on to it but the option had been removed.

Called Neteller and was told it would appear again in 24 hours, after a few more days and 3 more phone calls someone tells me the card had been canceled on the 10th October and because of the new Net+ card, I can no longer use the new card and have to apply for the new one.

Yesterday I called about the new Net+ card as its been a few days and I hadn’t been accepted and mentioned again how pissed off I was with the card being canceled, was on hold for a few more minutes and the guy said the withdraw option is now there again.

Sounds a bit dodgy to me, it looks like they obviously want people to switch over to the Net+ card.
