I’m Not President Bush – said McCain at the last debate

Barack Obama explains that he really is:

If there is a McCain “Obama Thinks he’s Running Against President Bush” ad, please add to thread.

Men are often judged by their actions and the choices that they make, but many people ignore the fact that the choices u don’t make are just as important.

Based on that criteria, i will list 3 reasons why George W. Bush was a good president

Because of what he didn’t do…

1 – He didn’t go to war with Mexico
    2 – He didn’t take away women’s rights
3 – He didn’t have sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky

Those are all things he could’ve easily done, and there are more things he could’ve done but chose not to that u need to be grateful for.

That’s why you think Bush was a good president??? You’re joking right?

I’m not sure that monica was available to G.W.

I’ll grant you and GW the first two points. But honestly, i was kinda assuming the Mexican thing wasn’t even possible, until he won a second time.

    On that criteria,

I DIDN’T go to war with France

I DIDN’T go to war with Cuba

I DIDN’T go and ignore the homeless guy on the corner

I DIDN’T forget to make coffee for my work-mates

    therefore, I am a legend.

and as for points 1 + 2 that you made…

I think Cheney TOLD him to leave Mexico alone and why would women’s rights be his to take away in the first place? Although many Govt’s and regimes pay Human Rights only lipservice, the fact remains that they are a natural fact.

Fake a war and lie to congress? Maybe.

Take back women’s rights? He hasn’t met my wife!

If you believe that then what does that say about McCain picking Palin as a VP?

For McCain to be so patriotic and ‘Country First’ that pick was either a ploy/stunt or Delusional.

His own party is starting to say how ‘irresponsible’ that pick was. You can google it and see how many conservatives are embarrased to be represented by her. Heather Mallick a journalist at CBC wrote the following.

“I assume John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his vice-presidential partner in a fit of pique because the Republican money men refused to let him have the stuffed male shirt he really wanted. :fencing:
She added nothing to the ticket that the Republicans didn’t already have sewn up, the white trash vote, the demographic that sullies America’s name inside and outside its borders yet has such a curious appeal for the right.”

Seems like this lady has some issues with Ms. Palin. lol

“Palin was not a sure choice, not even for the stolidly Republican ladies branch of Citizens for a Tackier America. No, she isn’t even female really. She’s a type, and she comes in male form too.
“Palin has a toned-down version of the porn actress look favoured by this decade’s woman, the overtreated hair, puffy lips and permanently alarmed expression.
