McPalin has been abusing her power at the taxpayers expense yet again:

She is the reformer of alaska and washington that will cut back on wasting our money? Yea Right, she is the same as the others in government that waste our money.

The thing is he is old and odds are he might unfortunately pass away before his term is up. I don’t wish that on anyone but its a fact of life, as you get older the odds of moving on increase.
This would result in this woman being president of the United States. I’d say the odds are 50/50.
A very scary thought. She hasn’t shown much responsibility on anything so far.
If the activities are within driving distance and it would not cost additional funds to bring the kids with her, then why not, but when you have to buy plane tickets for it its not cool. I am sure democrats are as guilty of this unfortunately.

October 23, 2008 at 1:18 pm #783717ZlzmbmaxMemberI don’t mind Politicians doing whatever as long as it isn’t contradicted by their actions.
Don’t mind if they’re secretly or openly gay – but don’t go proposing legislation that limits Gay Rights
Don’t mind if they preach family values – Just don’t go screwing an intern.
Don’t mind if they (and we have to sort of expect them in Election Year to) spend big on clothes and presenation – Just don’t go on about spending reform and how their propsed changes will reduce costs.
I want Politicians of ANY side to set an example with their actions as well as their words.
Kind of hollow to be talking about how we should all be tightening our belts when the advice isn’t good enough for them, too.
October 24, 2008 at 12:51 am #783833AnonymousGuestHi all,
well what scares me is … if this is the “best” behavior ? I mean you’re trying to look good right? so if this is her best foot …. ouch!
she kinda reminds me of some fish out of water story where the successful small business woman is catapulted into being queen for the day … or rather queen until the ride ends.
I always feel like she’s struggling, almost never feel like she’s real. I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t have cue cards for tucking the kids in at night … at this point.
she must have had something going for her at one time … (aside the male to female ratio is like 10 to 1 in alaska and they’d likely have voted a female polar bear into office is she wore a skirt short enough – just kidding Alaska)
but the system has done to her what it did to Bob Doyle (who has an excellent sense of humor if you’ve not seen him in spots after the election) where they made him so stiff and so worried about being sure to dot every “i” and cross every “t” that he lost what made him special.
I don’t know what made this woman special but if it was ever there it isn’t now.
October 24, 2008 at 1:38 am #783841AnonymousInactiveDo me a favor and stop watching MSNBC for a week and look at what is really happening. She is a normal American and has the same “wipe out Washington veiws” i have. Goverment has grown WAY to large and it needs to be stopped ASAP.

You mean in the last 8 years right? Yep, McSame will change that :sarcasm:

October 24, 2008 at 2:27 am #783860AnonymousInactiveNice to see i can at least make you think a little. Thats all I ask
October 24, 2008 at 2:39 am #783865AnonymousInactiveI didn’t say you made me “think a little”. I said you frazzled it… “it” being my incredible, sensible brain. Your posts throw it off it’s equilibrium. It’s all of the sudden like… wtf… “he said what” “what the hell does that mean” “well, that makes no sense, at all” :roflmao: I’m just kidding w/ you man. We may differ in political opinion, but that’s what’s necessary in a functioning democracy. Differences, opposing view-points & checks and balances are what have made us a successful Nation.

Sounds good! Is the pumpkin very strong? I just read the review of the brew:
http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/392/25880
Sounds excellent! It got an B+ which is rare on BeerAdvocate
Where did you get it?
I never really tried seasonal brew until this summer. Have you tied Bell’s Oberon? Leinenkugel’s Sunset Wheat is also really good. (Sorry, I don’t mean to derail the thread w/ beer talk)October 24, 2008 at 2:57 am #783874AnonymousInactive@Erik 182620 wrote:
