Politico (http://dyn.politico.com/printstory.cfm?uuid=E6FEBDAC-18FE-70B2-A8C7B82668CDF377) reported last month, John McCain & his wife Cindy pay over a quarter of a million dollars for some of those common people to take care of his many, many houses.
IN A SINKING ECONOMY:

October 10, 2008 at 1:53 pm #782038AnonymousInactiveG-d bless the McCains for hiring people to help them out. They’re very wealthy and since they’re not ready to give it all away hiring people, even servants, is better than sitting on it.
I don’t have problems with them having 7 homes. I just find it strange he didn’t know how many he had and that while he alluded to his wife running the finances, his handlers wouldn’t let him say “My wife handles the investments, so i only really think of the places we use as my homes”.
If the rich have too much, then raise taxes, but let’s not whine about what others have, if they earned it legally, paid their taxes, good for them.
I personally hope that someday i’m worth $100 million and own 7 homes.

Yep, that is very true. We can’t and should not get upset at those that are rich.
The thing we now need to focus on is to be sure that none of them continue to get rich off the Tax payers.
The past tax laws has been very unfair to mainstreet as it relates to corporations so I hope that now that we are broke everyone will do their part and pay a fair tax percentage and not continue to get tax cuts.

That was my only point of posting that (besides the fact that I think the video is funny). Good for anyone who can be that wealthy & have that many homes! My concern though is that McCain very recently said the “fundamentals of our economy are strong”. Also, not knowing how many houses you have, when asked, is very odd. My concern is whether or not he has a true understanding of what the middle-class & low income people are going through right now. He just seems out of touch on economic issues, at least to me.
October 10, 2008 at 6:53 pm #782093AnonymousInactivethat’s only $750 per week for each of the

I’ll take a shot at that one. LOL
The answer is NO, NADA, NOPE.
I’m sorry, but he is to old! I know that most will say that age should not play apart in the mix, but I totally disagree in ths instance.
