Looks, like the race game is beginning.
Instance of inflammatory outbursts at McCain-Palin rallies, a crowd member screamed “treason!” during an event on Tuesday after Sarah Palin accused Barack Obama of criticizing U.S. troops. At a McCain rally on Monday, television stations caught audio of a crowd member calling Obama a “terrorist,” while Dana Milbank reported that “[o]ne Palin supporter shouted a racial epithet at an African American sound man for a network and told him, ‘Sit down, boy.'” Also on Monday, at a Palin rally, one member of the audience yelled, “Kill him!”
“[Obama] said, too, that our troops in Afghanistan are ‘air raiding villages and killing civilians,'” Palin said, mischaracterizing a 2007 remark by Obama. “I hope Americans know that is not what our brave men and women in uniform are doing in Afghanistan. The U.S. military is fighting terrorism and protecting us and protecting our freedom.”
Shortly afterward, a male member of the crowd in Jacksonville, Florida, yelled “treason!” loudly enough to be picked up by television microphones.

You go “My Black Asian Boss Lady” :wink-wink
October 8, 2008 at 3:27 am #781643AnonymousInactiveObama won decisively. Period. This was the death knell in the McCain/Palin campaign. Substance, poise & facts win every time & this debate was a perfect example.

LOL After getting up early today, doing ‘political’ battling on the forums, preparing for our bash and watching the debate, I’m beat and headed to bed, but I’ll be here with my “heels and lipstick” on tomorrow.
ttyl
Your Sister from Another Mother. heheObama won hands down! Can’t wait to see what the others have to say.
October 8, 2008 at 4:44 am #781658AnonymousInactiveThis forum is a little bias. I don’t see anyone mentioning the guy that tried to disrupt Palin’s speech and she turned around and told him that his right was being fought by her son and others.
Although, I guess that by now I should be used to the left’s so called “freedom of speech” as long as you agree wth them or are people trying to kill US citizens. They have the 3 things in common – disrupt, shout you down, or call you names. And now a 4th one can be added if you do not agree with them or Obama – a racist!October 8, 2008 at 5:14 am #781660AnonymousInactive@bleuze 179871 wrote:

I stand behind every post that I’ve made and provided information to back it up so why can’t you do the same? Yes, I called you racist, because that’s what I believe and I’m entitled to state so. You come in here with your retoric and I posted mine. What’s the difference?

What a joke. Please point me to even one of your posts that wasn’t biased.
October 8, 2008 at 1:14 pm #781702AnonymousInactiveI think both candidates are exausted at this point. The debate was dull, mostly talking points I’ve heard before. If anything it was a draw.
Focus on fixing one major problem and many others will start to improve as a result.
Lirk someone said to to me Sarah Palin thinks she’s on a game show. I don’t think she realizes what a tough, stressful job being the president is should the need arise. Ever notice how quickly presidents age? Hugely stressful job that really pays crap compared to other CEO positions.
October 8, 2008 at 8:01 pm #781775AnonymousGuestYou got that right Slot.
(about the aging)
look at jimmy carter as the best example (IMHO) of current times (if that can be called current).
I’ll be here with my “heels and lipstick” on tomorrow
Line forms here for pictures!
… seriously!
October 8, 2008 at 8:32 pm #781778AnonymousInactiveLMAO Hey bb,
I’ll see what I can do to make that happen. lol

It’s NOT tough on you when you’re just a sidekick used in a desparate political battle where you are not expected to know virtually anything of relevance as it relates to the economy or basic knowledge of our history.

I’ll comment: it’s typical republican bullshit, you speak out, and it’s “how dare you express yourself since my son’s fighting in the wars”. Or in other words “if you aren’t in the military and/or supporting the war, shut up.
The fact that she was being heckled is rude and shouldn’t happen, but 1) this is the party that had the Sore Loserman signs printed before election day in 2000, 2) tried to force their way into ballot counting rooms 2000, 3) removed voting machines from black neighborhoods in Ohio in 2004 and 4) Came to Washington were wearing impeach Clinton buttons at his 1993 inaugaration, what a surprise that’s all they spent years trying to do.
I’m really concerned that someone heckled Palin, since it’s such a republican thing to do.
“traitor”, “kill him” and what other little gems are being shouted out by McCain supporters showing their facist stripes.
