No matter what you think about former President Bill Clinton he speaks to the people in a way that we can understand. And I have more trust and faith in what he sais then anyone in office that I know and I’m not ashamed to say it.
I know that folks have said that he does not like Obama, I don’t know if that is true or not, but I’m very happy to see that he is out campaigning for Obama!
He made a perfect case as to why the VP role is going to be more important today than ever before because the President will have many more challenges and will rely on his VP more.

the oval office probably has another connotation behind it now…
October 1, 2008 at 5:37 pm #780530AnonymousInactivethat “Send John Kerry” speech in the 2004 DNC was so great. I still remember it.

Whatever! LOL I guess you can’t relate to that situation so it’s easy to get bent out of shape over it.
EDIT: And I don’t need you following me around hating on my posts so find something else to do.

This is really the first year that I started paying attention to this political stuff so I don’t recall more than the debate moments that got the most attention.
I’m so looking forward to Palin and Biden tomorrow. It will definately be intersting. LOL

Think he’ll ask her what she’s been reading lately? :roflmao:
found a couple of interesting opinion pieces about her:

Thanks for the interesting links! hehe I can’t even imagine how this debate is going to go tonight. LOL
I actually feel kind of sorry for her and hope that she can do well, but I honestly cringe when I see some of her replies and get embarrassed for her. Then I get back to reality and think that if she wants to run with the big dogs then she needs to ‘man’ up!
October 2, 2008 at 10:57 am #780687ZlzmbmaxMemberI don’t have an ounce of compassion for her, she seems like she’s been thoroughly ruthless in the past, lol!
Just annoys me when people cry foul and say that the criticism of her is motivated by prejudice and is sexism – it’s not the fact that she’s a woman that i don’t like her, just the fact that I have more foreign policy experience than she does – that’s why I don’t like her!
But face it, if Hilary had been named Veep then Palin wouldn’t even be in tha game!

Exactly! McCain tried to pull another ‘high profile’ gutsy move and screwed himself by picking Palin. hehe
This woman is clueless as it relates to everyday events as well as basic history and I think most of us reading the forum has more foreign policy knowledge then she does.
October 2, 2008 at 12:42 pm #780699AnonymousInactiveI love how these fascists put up a moron, are afraid to have media talk to her for fear she’ll be asked something difficult like “What magazines do you read?” then scream Sexism.
Now they have her being interviewed, with McCain sitting next to her answering all the questions so she can’t make a bigger ass of herself. Talk about sexist, have big daddy speak for you.
I hope Biden makes her cry, i always like to see bullies like her getting a bit of their own medicine.
I never thought i’d see a candidate that made me long for the intellectual strengths of Dan Quayle.
October 2, 2008 at 12:48 pm #780700ZlzmbmaxMemberAnyone at CAP feelin’ the love for Sarah Palin?

I doubt they will be coming out until AFTER they see how she does in the debate tonight. hehe But then you never know someone may come out and support her.
October 2, 2008 at 1:25 pm #780708AnonymousInactiveHey Al Gore made it as VP so anything is possible. Truth is all these people running are pretty much worthless.
Obama will choke with the first major issue he cant tax his way out of
McCain is a tad out of it.
Palin is actually looking like the best of the 4 so far but tonight will be the test.
Obamas side kick would do better if someone stapled his mouth shut, but the entertainment aspect is great when he opens up.Pretty much were all pretty hosed either way.

Now those are some interesting comments chips. I guess only time will tell.
WOW I’m stunned that anyone thinks that, you must be talking about her physical appearance or somethg, but different strokes for different folks. hehe
IMO Obama is hot and sexy! I’ve not seen anyone like him running for office. Oh wait, he is the FIRST black Presidential nominee in history so there is no one to compare him to.
While things are kind of gloomy I don’t see us as hosed just yet. hehe
October 2, 2008 at 1:36 pm #780711AnonymousInactiveNo im looking at someone who will go after anyone doing the wrong thing in washington, none are perfect but she scores the highest.
